You know the weirdest shit about chicks who say they got raped? When they talk about the dude who raped them, they call him "my rapist."
It's a small detail, but it gets to me. If something bad happens to me, my first instinct is to mentally push it away. For instance, if I got into a car crash, I would refer to it as "the car crash" or maybe "the accident," but not "my car crash." If I got mugged, I would probably refer to the guy that mugged me as "the mugger" or "the guy that mugged me" or similar, but never "my mugger." It's very weird to me to refer to a person that raped you in such intimate, possessive terms that directly makes this person a part of yourself.
