Okay, I saw this and was confused and did some digging.
As it turns out, if you're playing WC3 with TFT patches, some of the triggers and dependencies change.
Now, Archimonde will only march forward if a certain number of non-tower structures are killed, as it triggers him "defeating" the base. In addition, if the Human Castle or the Orc Great Hall are destroyed, it automatically counts as "defeated" and Archimonde will march forward.
In addition, food costs are different. in TFT, the demons they build as part of the attack require food, as opposed to RoC, where they do not. This leads to strange situations, such as heroes not being able to be built due to a lack of food.
