Haven't been caring since they announced no PC at launch and seeing what they did to RDO's economy (beyond fucked inflation compared to singleplayer, premium currency, no text chat whatsoever and no proper server joining)

No, while you're right GTA could never flop(since a large chunk of GTA5 sales are people rebuying the game to get cheaper sharkcards). But that only accounts for FLOPPING. There's still one other aspect it can get hit by that would turn Rockstar's largest, record breaking game in history into a $2 billlion dollar bonfire. And that's if it gets BANNED.
Collective Shout, the Australian feminist organization has already gone after GTA in the past(over 15 years ago with GTA5) and wanted to ban it from Australian shelves. This was BEFORE Visa and Mastercard started listening to them.

my expectations have been rockbottom when i saw just how much of this shit was outsourced
this is the real reason for the delay, the game is probably still in a unplayable state in many areas (par and parcel for games that outsource to India) and Rockstar knows that with more than a decade of hype they cant afford to release a game in the same state as say the GTA definitive Trilogy because that shit will tank the stock value of Take Two

I realized I no longer care when I bought GTA 5 on launch, played it for a few hours that night and then never returned to it. And I didn't hate it or anything. Exploring the world was neat, but once I started doing missions I just lost interest.

Realistically, the copers best case scenario is that one of these disgruntled faggots leaks some serious serious shit about the game which forces them to push the shit back even further (leaks some serious story shit) which would obvious cause them to make serious changes. Yeah, a bit, it's a shame but I think most people's hype will have cooled off enough by the time that it actually releases that the majority will just see is as a decent but graphically insane game. I'm not saying it'll flop, it won't, but I don't think the love and excitement around it will match that of Red Dead Redemption 2 at all. I think most people will see it as a disappointment rather than an outright terrible game.
