i just dont like this model gacha games do that constantly release new characters for its entire lifespan because then they have to take a minimum however many hours to shill them to you even if you dont care about their paper thin personality and backstory and will never roll for them
and old characters, regardless of how good they are, have to be juggled and fight for screentime
i dont care about qui chin dongling the magical schoolgirl and her epic pool party surfboard minigame + mandatory sobstory when im 50+ hours deep into shit
