>That's like saying the Epic Game Store exclusives meant that Steam was dead
Nintendo is much more like Steam than Playstation or Xbox, they have exclusives and people wanna play there. Bad example either way.
>The reality is that people didn't want to leave all their games behind
Right, people care so much about playing their PS3/Xbox copy of GTA 5 and Skyrim...
Vastly overplayed by fanboys and companies alike. Consumers have shown they're more than willing buying their 5th copy of Skyrim if needed on a new platform anyways. Eventually games go on deep sales anyways so they become super affordable so it's not as expensive to restart as Sony fanboys pretends in their dumb console war arguments. If I care about Kingdom Hearts or whatever I can just wish list it and tag it on website like deukudeals and they'll tell me when the price is right.
>Imagine if in some Bizarro world, Nintendo started porting everything to Playstation or PC. Would you really swap when you have a ton of Switch games already or would you continue getting the new multiplats there?
Okay but in current reality multiplats are on Nintendo and Playstation lost their exclusives to PC and ported some to Nintendo/Xbox. People are still using PS5 as an example but technically it could sell on GTA 6 promise alone, imagine when everything's announced for Nintendo/Playstation/PC day 1. Then the question really just becomes why would anyone buy Playstation at all? Can pirate games for free on PC and Nintendo will always have their exclusives too.
>Look at how many games missed the Switch 1 despite it selling so much
Why you pretending NS2 is like NS1? They're not and Wii U also flopped. Cool you're ignoring reality again.
>Games are barely running on the PS5
This is bad news for their future handheld because they don't have dedicated ports
