I cannot figure out how the hell to enhance characters to upgrade their rarity without using the same spirits with quick fuse. Like there is clearly a menu in the background that should let you pick what spirits you want to fuse into a character if you use the quick fuse button but exiting out of the quick fusion immediately kicks you out of the menu. I know you could do it in the beta.

There has to be a way otherwise it will be impossible to increase the rarity of your created character.

Chronicle mode is kind of like a greatest hits mode, you're really just seeing a summary/highlights.

It is fine to start with this game though. Story mode is its own timeline/separate thing. As mentioned in the story mode your rival is the son of the main protagonist of the original anime but thats all you really need to know, he plays a different position from his dad anyway.

So just play story mode and if you do feel like you want to watch some anime, start with the original Inazuma Eleven since itll be the most relevant for now
