I'm still shocked at how good character customization is in Phantasy Star Portable 1 and 2 (and Infinity).
Muscles, fat, bust size, eye shape+color, fuckloads of hairstyles, shitloads of clothes, it just doesn't end.
Also since the games aren't censored, you can run around as an absolute tiddy monster with a v-neck that goes down to the navel, or run around with the top half of your boobs just completely uncovered and nicely spherical.
Annoyingly though, like 99% of the games' clothing is locked behind progression and/or secrets, so you're stuck waiting around for the perfect clothes to eventually unlock, even though they're 100% just visual and there's no reason to lock them behind progression.
Sometimes if I get bored with my character's look after a while, I'll temporarily max her bust size.

Even disregarding the visual customization, you get all kinds of shit to do with your stats and skills and passives, or you can boost a weapon affinity for the wrong class and go around whacking shit with a claymore as a mage class.
Hell, you even get to pick your racial super move, set weird loadouts, pick what your heavy attacks are for your weapons, shit like that.

honestly it does take some time to learn stuff, but with enough motivation you should be able to get the hang of it fairly well (there are plenty of tutorials and guides). It's a lot easier then blender unless you want to make your own stuff. As a user, you only really need to know how to change clothing, hair, etc. and you can easily do that through the UI.

You can't quite do anime in VAM, the shaders don't support it, but you can perfectly make eg. stylized korean elves, characters don't have to follow realistic proportions at all. Or yeah, you can make very real-to-life fatties, lolis, grandmas, white, asian, blacks, whatever you are into. Or fug vidya characters like in the OP. Complete with jiggle physics, hair, clothing and so on.
Then put your model in some decent prebuilt scenes/scenarios like jyy's and go to town.

Like others in this thread have said though, be careful, it'll ruin 2/3rds of other stuff you fap to.

Bros I found a maelle on F95, a guy made "morph adjustments" to it and uploaded as another var.
Am I supposed to merge the changes? I unpackaed both, merged the fix on the original one, zipped, changed from .zip to .var but the game won't load it. It loads the original one fine.

You absolutely can, to varying degrees of cartoony/anime.
This is not the same VAM it was 4 years ago, being an unity client means it will accept most unity shaders and there's a handful of plugins that do so.

There's a ton of plugins to fix that, plus usually if you have penetration issues it's because of proportions/scene setup which can be fixed with morph adjustments and/or said plugins.
VAM is much like blender, you get what you put into.

I can confirm tho, once you get into VAM it's pretty much impossible to go back, there's nothing like it for cooming.
Any waifu you can think of, with the proportions and clothing you'd like, in whatever depraved act, position and what not that you can imagine, all with the ability to use it with VR and using their source anime/game voicelines for sex and dialogue...man was not meant to have this much power.

Here's how I do it:
In its original scene, first save that character as a new look/appearance preset (preferably not wearing any outfits, you can save clothes as a separate clothing preset to load later)
Open another scene, the one where you want to put this character into
Go to the menu for the character you want to swap out and load the appearance you saved earlier
Load clothing presets on your swapped out character if you want to. You can also 'lock' clothing such as makeup or jewelry so that loading a new outfit won't overwrite those items
If you now save that adjusted scene, you won't get those errors anymore either, since the outfits don't get called. And you can load the saved scene with Maelle in there directly. Not every scene will work as well though, some are very scalable but others may require a very specific character height that Maelle probably won't be, or its animations will break

If you're 100% new though, you might wanna check if there aren't any tutorials around on the main site or on youtube. Swapping characters is pretty basic stuff

For minor height/size mismatches, you can also download the DiviningRod plugin, although maybe you already have it. It auto-aims the tip of your 'rod' to the appropriate hole. So you don't comically miss as often.

Sounds like an IQ check, the grand, grand majority of plugins are free because of the inherent nature of being a plugin.
All the "paywalled" stuff is usually looks or clothing which can all be accessed for some measly 5 dollars in patreon of their respective maker, which unlocks dozens upon dozens of content that took hours to make each.

I dunno about HS, but Koikatsu has it really bad and such shit is seen as really scummy behavior. Paywalled content is generally of really terrible quality, and those that are of good quality are usually just straight model ports from the latest gacha or other vidya.
There are some really great paid stuff, like one that adds chain physics, but the vast majority of paywalled content is low effort stuff.

Worst: Troon coded shit like Arc Raiders, no boob sliders. Top Scar surgery like in Veilguard

Best: Allows sexy women with birth giving hips, big boobs and pretty faces. No 'body type' naming conventions, rock solid male and female binary.
