>samurai
>use gun
I love this trope.

Samurai main weapon was a bow. Guns are basically bows just better.

Depends on the period. Just like any other country, the primary weapon of the higher ranked warrior orders changed throughout the centuries as tactics and technology evolved.

Bow and gun existed and used during the same period in japan.

Samurai consistently used firearms from the 16th century onward
They reverse engineered matchlock guns purchased from the Portuguese and possessed more guns than all of contemporary europe combined.

And also a spear, a katana is the very last layer of defense but it's cooler in anime than fighting long range.

Guns were the antithesis to the samurai. They erased their necessity. As soon as guns arrived in Japan, any wise Jap immediately realized that any able bodied man could now waste a lifetime of samurai training in an instant with a simple firearm in hand. Thus the samurguy were rendered obsolete along with any other elite swordsman class in an INSTANT.
>but in capabur hands of mighty samurai, maximum damage be done desu~
Nope, they were as much noobs with guns as nip peasants. They would get bodied as hard as anyone else.
