Digimon Adventure for PSP. It's a simple RPG that covers the entire first series and associated movies. Never released in the west so I suppose you'll just have to take my word for it (though there is a fan translation)

Thanks to whoever made thread about this game couple weeks ago, I'm actually enjoying it way more than I thought I would. I'm not into anime fighters or battle royales, certainly not into a blend of both, but it turned out to be a lot of fun.
And I gave first few seasons a watch, not into shounens either, but it's alright.

DBZ and Naruto have a few good fighting games.

Budokai 3 and BT2 + 3 were great. The BT games really felt like Dragon Ball Z, you’d send each other flying through rocks, rapid punch trades, beam clashes, all that.

dragon ball fighterz doesn't really count right? it's basically an arc system fighter with a dragon ball skin on top

One Piece Grand Adventure, Zatch Bell Mamodo Battles, and Naruto Clash of Ninja were fun fighting games during the Gamecube/PS2 era that depicted the stories ok for the time. OP is a fun Powerstone clone while the other two are cool arena fighters.

Ken's Rage 1 was how i experienced the Fist of the North Star story and I thought it worked well.

The Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi series.
Bleach Soul Ignition could have been good if it was faster paced in general and didn't start in the 4th fucking story arc (or like 1/3 into the 3rd story arc depending on how you separate the different arcs.)

This game sucks. I was using it for Japanese practice but holy fuck I couldn't handle how basic it is as a game. Just bland repetitive featureless hallways in between VN sections retelling the anime episodes. I'd rather just watch the anime.
