The dialogue during the "gameplay" portion is just endless quips and puns and the character interactions during the 20 or so minutes of cutscenes each episode is unnatural and rushed from antagonistic to genuine love over the course of a single episode.

This should've been an Invincible-style 40 - 45 minute 8 episode TV season, not a video game.
