Training levels up automatically just from leveling your NPC umas. That's why you get Power LV5 and Guts LV5 at the end of a run despite barely pressing them.
In URA you had to level training manually by training in that option, making leveling them up extremely slow and inefficient. Part of what makes the scenario gives you so many stats is that you can reach Speed training lv5 really early despite training less speed overall, just by doing unity training and popping orbs. And then when you do a LV5 training with lets say, 1 rainbow and 1 orb, you get a ton of stats. Which is why decks with only 2 speed cards work in the first place.
