It's time for people to start seeing Half Life for what it is. A game for normalfags to feel like heroes in scripted situations.
I have nothing against that, in fact, I think it's great that there's variety, but it's sad when a game that's basically a big linear action-movie-like interactive experience, influences the minds of consumer cattle so much that even fucking Doom 3 decided to take this path (ironically, the worst Doom ever made).
Fortunately, the world of single-player shooters has somewhat recovered from the influence of Half Life. I think it's only fair now to start talking about that game for what it really is, and not for what unimaginative normalfags think it is.
