A lot of these things are driven by hype and momentum. NS2 had Mario Kart World and sure it'll sell tons of consels but they can create a new Mario Kart for NS3 but obviously if NS3 had GTA 6 + other huge games day 1 that would drive sales unlike anything in console war history.
It's hard to predict what games like GTA 6 would do to sales numbers for NS2 in general but we've seen Playstation sell a lot in general basically without exclusives so the sky is the limit. But what I mean in general is the new normal for Nintendo will be 140-160 million and above that as Playstation/Xbox keeps dying.
