"Reinstalled" skyrim today and got the way of the monk mod. Been hankering for fantasy monk adventures, seems like this will scratch that itch.

Be honest. How annoying is it to set up skyrim mods and how much storage space would that typically take.
I don't necessarily mean clicking download links for dozens to hundreds of mods I do want.

But more so actually finding mods, making sure they don't conflict, learning about load order, possible troubleshooting, circumventing paywalls, etc.

Glenmoril has several varieties of throwing knives and bombs. Relics of Hyrule also has throwable bombs and deku nuts.

I was thinking about playing so I went to the skyrim general to find some kind of guide to help me set up mods. I then saw a series of images showing a wow Draenei and a catman eating a human child and decided I don't really want to be part of this community.

More annoying than you're prepared for. Every mod has 10 dependencies which each have their own dependencies. The more mods you install, the higher the probability you will have hard conflicts and your game won't boot at all.
If you're looking to fully "remaster" the game it will take a couple dozen hours at least.
Then you have to consider the problems that don't show up right away when you have hundreds of mods installed. You might go into an area and your frames suddenly tank, or you might have missing objects or a quest might not be working properly. Then you have to go into the bug section of every mod you installed to find out what's causing it. You can mostly avoid this by reading comments and bug sections of every mod before you install.
Then once you make it to the end of this process (big if), you will start playing for a few minutes and realize the game is kinda shit, then you uninstall.

I've only had two bad ends (as in the quest's broke) where I lost to some bandits while trying to rescue a knight and ended up a slave in their base and couldn't get out, and another where I got teleported to a nobles dungeon where he wanted to watch me get fucked forever, both required reloading.

Modding of skyrim is based on all the work of people who modded Morrowind and Oblivion + the 14 years since 2011 that skyrim has been the mainstay, meaning that 14 years of relatively stable development of sex mods.

A lot of bitching about skyrim back in the day was that coomer mods were developed for standard/legacy edition and the new Special Edition was not compatible with them (but much better looking visually). After some time they finally ported most of them over to SE to benefit from the upgrades to the engine, and now we have this retarded shit being spammed.

No game allows as much modding as Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim. Morrowind is ill-prepared for coomer mods because of char models. So they dont get this retarded scourge of weeb coomers. They did try, but found no acceptable result and left it alone. Then they tried it with Oblivion, and they had a great success. You wont believe how much degenerate shit there was, and most of it was made by japs. Seriously. Weebs obviously ported it over. And then Skyrim came out... Oblivion modding pretty much got snuffed, and weebs and coomers moved on to the new pastures that offered better graphics.

You have to understand that to weebs and coomers and japs the game itself is just a modding platform with assets. They dont give a shit about the game. Even if it was not the mediocre slop that it is, they would still treat it as just a modkit with assets.
