I've thought it was very good, but I'm really struggling to rate it against other Telltale games.
On one hand, the characters are more likable, and the plot is better than anywhere except maybe Tales from the Borderlands. It certainly looks better than any Telltale game before it, the animations are day and fucking night.
On the other hand, it's so fucking short compared to any Telltale game at all. If you cut out the dispatcher segments, there's maybe 5 hours of the story. The other games had 2 hours PER EPISODE.

I've thought about JoJo, but what it really reminded me of was the Clock King episode of Batman.
There, the Clock King is able to fight Batman because he knows how fast Batman's moves are. I feel like my main problem is limited bodies not passing checks.
Flambae and Pman can solve those issues if you keep winning
Invisigal too if you send her solo
Guess Golem is better built as a generalist to solo 4 slots rather than comboing with invisigal.
Prism makes anyone good but is high demand for Cha and Int checks.
Sonar is good if you already know when he human/beast form will be needed.
Coupe is good once you have her retry, otherwise she needs to pair with Punchup to work well.
Waterboy with the final mission, I'm wondering if his group heal will be better. His +3 stat is kind of hard to use because you NEED to ignore him and have him slot himself. Ironically I wonder if that makes him better as a generalist (no combat)?

I feel like I got the inferior route by not going through the plot the way the devs clearly intended. By the way, I chose to keep Robert's identity a secret last episode and literally NOTHING happens. I chose to be cynical on most of the "can Z team be redeemed or are they a bunch of jerkoffs" and it didn't matter. I'm also somewhat disappointed in the BB stuff. I'm not as excited about that stuff as you guys seem to be about the romance but she definitely feels like the other choice compared to a character who plays a pivotal role in the finale. BB is just there. She's pretty and heroic and it's kind of cool how she chooses to act in a way that's incomprehensible to shroud (although the symbolism is somewhat ruined by the fact that he literally could not predict it) but the romance doesn't mean much in relation to the rest of the plot compared with invisigal.
