Does anyone know how to fix when some CC craps out when you zoom all the way out? It looks perfectly normal when you're zoomed closer to the sim but when you zoom all the way out the mesh goes crazy. Did some googling and they said it was an LOD issue, possibly DX11 related, but I used sims4studio DX11 batch fix and it still happens. This tends to happen with conversion CC (picrel is from a Mass Effect Tali outfit)

I attempted it but some of the meshes just wouldnt update. I ended up setting all the graphics settings on GraphicsRules.sgr like RenderSimLODDistances and RenderSimTextureSizes to maximum solved it. Hopefully my 4090 can sustain this decade old game at settings beyond what was intended

I can't go so far as to give you, or anyone, the best way to play TS4. What gets me to return is more on the side of design of sims and building lots, matching sims to builds and eventually trying to connect a more or less coherent world of them. It'd be considered more theatre of the mind than hard and complex functional gameplay, so I can understand the issue many have with that approach.

I don't have a pool. My grandparents who bought their house with an inground pool in the 80s made out okay. My other relatives who just get by and came into a bit of money one time also bought an aboveground pool.

If you're doing good and one of those people who can turn pool maintenance into a relaxing hobby then go for it. Even if youre just okay payment plans make a lot possible now.
