The higher in infinite you climb though the worse cerebro gets. His points output is very predictable which leads to lower cube equity than what you can achieve with less predictable decks

Okay you can call me shizo, but I'm 100% sure they have weighted mm to keep some decks closer to 50-60% winrate.
The thing is - midrange decks are okay by design. Even battle piss midrange often loses to bad locations, inability to go tall on two locations, unpredictable tech used by opps.
On the other hand if you try to play thanus (even non-meta) at some point you will meet only darkhawks, cassandras and lokis. Like 10 matches streaks consisting of direct counters.
If you try to play discard (bullseye for example) - at some point you will meet only clogs, mmm surfers and so on
It was the same session. If your winrate is too high - switch to midrange, the most generic version of it. It has no counters. You will meet new deck every match. If you try to climb with the same deck with any vulnerability - matchmaking will make you pay.

Snap, like fucking every other modern multiplayer game, has a hidden MMR score and once you reach your appropriate MMR then you're gonna be getting put against people who are just as skilled as you. That means you're naturally gonna have around a 50~ish% winrate most of the time.
Also, you're probably getting thrown off by the recent-ish changes to the bots that actually try to win. Those fucking things 100% counterpick your deck. Seriously, queue with Arishem for a while and count how many bots are "randomly" running darkhawk/cassandra nova decks then switch to anything with a 12 card list and watch as suddenly you never see those lists again.
