I'm actually fine with slower games. The story is pretty interesting so far in Witcher. But I can't for the life of me stand the controls and combat. That's part of what makes getting from quest to quest so boring. Geralt almost feels like he's on ice sometimes and the combat just sucks so far. And heavy attacks are plain worthless.

Yep, you're exactly right about witcher 3 gameplay. It's so bad. There really is no strategy besides quen and light flurry, the level scaling is awful, and it just feels clunky and bad
