Personally I try to have something on in every lane. Rou kb+dodge on left, DPS on middle and right. If you can't one-shot their grid or lack the SP to do so bring a tank like Lecliss or Seir onto your attack team, they help. Spread units out.

DEF is about walling units with solid tanks that can also kill enemies, via reflect or other means (like fixed damage). The staple comp is BATeresse/Glacia/Lecliss/Morp/Justia. You can also play with this, like ditching Lecliss for a second DPS (Venaka/Rubia), BATeresse for BHelana or Liberta if you don't have her or Gran for Morp.
