You should wait a couple weeks until the anniversary; virtually everything, including survivors. Usually for half off, so you could get two for those 500 cells instead of just one. There's sometimes even sales for purchasing with shards, which pretty never happens any other time except maybe around Halloween.

That being said, out of those in your pic: Leon has flash bang, and Cheryl has some decent if somewhat niche perks. I don't have Alan Wake myself so I can't say and Soma you can get with shards so don't waste cells on him.

Between being taken by the Entity for one trial and the next, everyone is stuck in a hungerless sleepless state in an infinite foggy dusky forest with a campfire. Keep that in mind. Other than collecting branches to feed the fire, there's LITERLLY nothing else to do that doesn't involve doing something with someone else.

Most of the survivors are decently attractive and physically fit. A good number of killers are either human enough, or are "good" enough for monsterfuckers to fetishize. Eventually everyone's gonna finish their self introductions and their horrible traumatizing backstories and maybe bitch/brag at each other over how their previous trial went. Then people are gonna start excusing themselves from the campfire to "take a walk" or "get some fresh air" one by one.

Same for killers. Most of them have human intelligence and psyches, just fucked up in various ways. You can only stand around glowering in the woods by yourself waiting for the next trial before you have to look for something to occupy yourself with. The Artist originally being a pretty normal woman was probably one of the first to "snap" despite being a latecomer, after that it's open season for the less totally schizo killers to interact with the prey during downtime. Meg calls Trapper "daddy"

New survivors and killers who just arrived and don't quite get how things work just yet probably get taken to the site for their version of The Talk. Sable 100% has left the campfire for honest reasons to enjoy some solitude only to freak out and scream when she stumbled across Ada bent against a tree taking deep tentacle-filled cock from Nemesis. Turns to flee, stumbles blindly through the trees, runs into Amanda riding Dwight.

Besides that, I don’t think it’s ever specified how the survivors and killers go about business after a ‘trial’. I remember it being implied that you can stumble upon a killer at pretty much any time, but that alone is not enough to lock you in a trial. The lore for this is obviously super undeveloped unless I’m forgetting a tome or something where this is all conveniently explained in detail all we can do is speculate. We also know that at least during the trials, survivors are all trapped in an actual dream state, which was the reason given for why they don’t speak to each other, so who knows what they might up get up to or do under that impression.

You will be able to spend 1M bps in bulk to go up exactly 1 prestige in that update, it's not part of the PTB but will roll out with the live chapter, so you just 3M BPs to get him to P3

Depends on the killer. I'm a P100 Blight and would say it's S tier for him. See, the game is designed in a way that if a killer breaks a pallet on most maps, the survivor will be able to run to the next loop and reach it. Blight negates that to a large extent because he can dash after breaking a pallet and will be able to hit a survivor 50% of the time (depends on map) with a rush before they make the next tile. Brutal Strength's 20% doesn't seem like much, but I shit you not that perk alone raises the catch chance from 50% to 70%. There are many tiles that can barely be chained together basekit, and that faster pallet break makes it so the survivor can't reach it before you can hit them. It also pairs well with gen kick perks like Eruption and Pop which work well on Blight since he has excellent mobility.
It's also S tier on Wesker for the same reason. Fast pallet break, instant dash, survivor makes no distance.

It's less effective on M1 killers and the main benefit is for zoning a survivor. Oni is probably the best 'M1 (before he gets power he only has M1) killer' that benefits from Brutal Strength because he's special in the way that survivors will typically play very safe at the start of the game by predropping all the pallets to delay the first hit as long as possible. This way you can get lots of pallets out of the way in your first chase as Oni.

Hi dbdg please help a newfag out. I got the game the other day to play with friends, tried out killer today solo. Every game I kept on getting blinded by people, I tried looking away but when picking people up, going over windows(? ledges?) and smashing obstacles I cant move my camera. I'm constantly getting blinded, should I play the chainsaw guy for the perk that makes me immune to blinding? These guys are really coordinated

Picrel was me getting 2 hooks the whole match, I felt like whenever I chased one guy there would be two other guys kind of hovering near me to blind me when I try to go over windows or pick up the guy I finally downed. Some older perks have the same strength of an add-on. You can imagine Brutal Strength just being an add-on for some killers who are expected to kick gens and pallets (and it is for Wraith, though his add-on is even stronger than Brutal Strength). These otherwise weak perks (Brutal Strength, Agitation, Distressing, etc) only see use because of synergy. Not every perk needs to be Corrupt Intervention levels of strength but I do think they could do with some little secondary effects, like how Lightborn shows you Nea's aura too.

Sure you can use Lightborn while you learn the basics and fundementals of the game, nothing wrong with that. You don't need to actually play Hillbilly to unlock Lightborn, you can play whoever you want and then put the bloodpoints in Hillbilly's bloodweb.
Looking directly at walls is supposed to be the counter to not getting blinded while picking a survivor up, but unfortunately, flashbangs can still get you and Behavior doesn't care about his. Otherwise if you suspect someone is nearby, just have a little look around behind nearby obstacles and hit them and chase them off before you pick someone up. Even doing that you will still get blinded sometimes, happens to everyone.

Yeah, you should get Billy for his perks but I would not recommend actually playing as him. He's very hard to master for a beginner despite being one of the strongest killers in the game. Wraith is probably the best to start with. You want Enduring from Billy and Lightborn which you can use if you see flashlights in the lobby.
A good beginner build is Sloppy Butcher, Enduring, Spies from the Shadows, Brutal Strength. Swap out Spies for Lightborn if you see flashlights and don't feel like getting blinded.

There are no really good gen regression perks in the base game so that's probably the best for you. The best Wraith addons are the ones that increase speed and decrease uncloak time. Enduring will let you just hold W through every pallet so you can get them out of the way quickly with Brutal Strength if they decide to stun you, or hit them anyways if they think you're going to respect it and they hold W.
Remember, Wraith is a hit and run killer and not to commit to long chases if a survivor is good. Hit them and move on if they're in a strong area. Sloppy Butcher makes it longer to heal for them and if you interrupt a heal, they lose all progress. Being injured vs Wraith who can sneak up to you anytime is not a good idea so survivors will generally waste lots of time healing, which means they aren't doing generators.

Not only is playing a whole game injured (and throwing up all over yourself constantly) really lame and gross but the whole way the fountains work makes it obvious the best way to play against her is to just prerun and genhump and never get anywhere near her then cleanse at the end of the game and leave.

I get it's a horror game but it really does stand out because it's easily just 10-15+ minutes of puking noises. fair enough. all i think about when i'm gauging a killers strength is "can this killer win consistently in a top mmr pub match". but like you said, she is actually lower killrate than both blight and twins even if we ignore freddy.
the thing is that while twins are undeniably strong, they are also and low pickrate, so i think big part of why their killrate is so high is that nobody, even top mmr are comfortable playing against them or know the best counterplay. on top of that, killers with a smaller playerbase tend to have higher killrates since they're more dedicated to their niche killer.
i guess you could argue blight is stronger than nurse if the official stats show he's both higher killrate and more popular... maybe in a pub he's more consistent. i don't know. regardless i still think nurse and blight are the best killers in the game and should get some sensible nerfs to make room for some nerfs to the strongest survivor stuff anyway.
