I'm glad Sia's legion block and to a lesser extent link skill are actually usable. On the other hand Len will be free legion levels and nothing else usable for your account unless you're a brand new account and need to survive instead of deal damage (and basically every other survival link skill is better anyway). Movement speed legion block is actually quite comical and I genuinely don't know why they did it aside from not wanting yet another strength block but also not wanting to give you anything good. Even then flat HP would at least be something a Demon would put on because why not. I was half expecting Sia to have %MP as a legion effect which is good for pretty much Xenon and nobody else, but abnormal status damage is a unique take for legion blocks and also something solid especially given two or three of the best link skills synergize with that sort of thing. Watch Erel's legion block be Final Attack (not to be confused with Final Damage, please check your Legion Artifact).

len's legion block at lv 250 SSS is +10 MAX movement speed, its insane and I'm hype for the 10 extra speed, moving quicker is just simply better for dodging
monster life used to also have a source of max movement speed increase, while it was only +3 max movement speed if I recall it never was replaced in artifact

But by the time it becomes worthwhile you're probably getting to the point where Evan and Aran legion blocks are more worthwhile which is just a depressing part of progression in general, I'm talking over 10k legion and all your Legion Champions up to at least 6th job.

I just saw the patch notes and noticed we get all of 70 cubes or so for the entire event. Which is absolutely dog shit because the supply of cubes is one of the biggest bottlenecks to progression in reg server. Included in the patch notes is another few ways of milking reg server players dry with stuff like cross world AH fees and the battle pass which were made as a replacement for KR where they had to get rid of paid cubes due to a scandal. Nexon NA decided "why not both" and decided to continue charging us for cubes while also charging us for every little thing they could like battle passes or cross world AH fees

Inkwell is supposed to fix reg servers as he's promised in his notes. All he's done is given us access to lootbox gated expiring frenzy totems but it's absolute silence on the issue of cubes which are and always have been the biggest bottleneck

It's still much better than reboot for fashion rn but the monetization is insane because we get all of KMS's greedy new attempts to monetize post-cube scandal on top of keeping all of their greedy old attempts (cubes, RNG hairs, RNG vac pets). Some of it is even more reg server exclusive monetization like cross world AH fees on a server that was already the most monetized and which should have been much needed QoL for servers that really needed the extra activity.

Some of us simply prefer reg server because it's a more enjoyable experience with regards to casual play where things like fashion are easier to obtain, merchanting is an option and slower progression in the midgame is not a huge deal.

But the monetization in reg is just absurd because of how greedy nexon is to the point that even people who prefer the reg server playstyle are heavily disincentivized. I have spent money occasionally on Maplestory but will probably stop since they really make zero effort to fix any regular server problems. Things that should have been free (cross world AH) are getting charged for.

If you're on Hyperion or planning to world leap to Hyperion then the plan is to giga grind the rune exp until Sunday...which is another rune exp day

Looks like Gold is a low effort, realistic goal for people with 8k+ legion (15k points). You'd have to get to 265 and do eWill (+nLucid). Silver is literally just a 260 nLomien mule, so it's basically free frags. Any bosses you push past nLomien just reduce the days you need to spend checking in.

Gold & Emerald basically give no benefits to people with high legion already, so the only useful checkpoints are Silver (8 sol erda and 300 frags as well as fairy heart) and Diamond (for the cosmetic set). And Diamond is looking kinda stretchy given that you'd need to get to at least 270 and do HWill, HLucid, NVHilla or CGloom alongside the obvious CSlime. Pretty brutal.
I really liked the butterfly set so I'll give it my all but I expect people to get very frustrated when they realize how absurd our time frame is, 15 weeks are not much at all to get strong without having enough legion/link skills to get to a point where you're hands away from soloing CTene

Inkwell is supposed to fix reg servers as he's promised in his notes. All he's done is given us access to lootbox gated expiring frenzy totems but it's absolute silence on the issue of cubes which are and always have been the biggest bottleneck

It's still much better than reboot for fashion rn but the monetization is insane because we get all of KMS's greedy new attempts to monetize post-cube scandal on top of keeping all of their greedy old attempts (cubes, RNG hairs, RNG vac pets). Some of it is even more reg server exclusive monetization like cross world AH fees on a server that was already the most monetized and which should have been much needed QoL for servers that really needed the extra activity.

Some of us simply prefer reg server because it's a more enjoyable experience with regards to casual play where things like fashion are easier to obtain, merchanting is an option and slower progression in the midgame is not a huge deal.

But the monetization in reg is just absurd because of how greedy nexon is to the point that even people who prefer the reg server playstyle are heavily disincentivized. I have spent money occasionally on Maplestory but will probably stop since they really make zero effort to fix any regular server problems. Things that should have been free (cross world AH) are getting charged for.

Seems its only the initial rewards, not the level 200+ milestones. So yes it's pretty much useless

The way I'm seeing it off burst you would want to do the fusion combos for the stellar skills since you get much better summon duration or damage out of it. On burst you activate them since there's no way you could properly combo the skills to all stack without your buffs running out.

took me a few hours to start getting used to dash canceling, but i could not for the life of me chain those combos together without eating shit on bosses
and really even that won't be too bad once you have combos committed to muscle memory
avoid if you don't want carpal tunnel or want a turn your brain off class
