It was reveal 1st month of game release in the data mining that all Helldiver and Super Earth Leaders are Indian. Indians are the mightiest warriors in Human History and it is no different in the future.

Are collabs and crossovers a zoomer thing because I don't get it. Killzone didn't bother me, I never really played it except for a handful of times at a cousin's house growing up, but it's a beloved franchise and it was kinda cool seeing some revitalization for those of you who love it. bot constellations rarely will fuck you over if you brought any AT, while bug constellations can be annoying as fuck because its "one billion jumping niggers" or "bile shitter ragdoll artillery"

of course, none of this matters, as the bot front is easily shut down by one nigger on the cuck chair, and the bug front with just having a sentry and some sustained AoE red.
the biggest difference being, that the bot front is more lenient with what primary and secondary you bring. not saying that you cant or shouldnt use DMRs on bugs, but youll have a worse time than if you brought even a liberator.

brood commanders do not retreat, there isn't a single enemy in this game aside from stalkers that are programmed to scuttle off after engaging
once a commander has you targeted they'll start to pursue and try to spawn their gank squad, they will never try to retreat
what everyone is witnessing is something fundamentally fucked with their aggro and pathfinding because sometimes you'll see them just wander completely off the battlefield, eventually despawning as they get out of range of any players

Heavy armor is hard mode.
Most of your deaths will be from receiving sudden massive spikes of damage that kill you no matter your armor rating, heavy armor just slows you down and makes it so you're more likely to be unable to avoid these damage spikes.
The difference between armor rating needs to be greater for there to be a practical reason to wear heavy armor and not just aesthetic.

Giving medium armour AP2 and heavy AP3 with the same rules as enemy armour would be great and honestly less of a difference than you'd think. Only weakest melee attacks are AP2 (Scavengers) and in terms of ranged attacks it would only significantly matter on bots, where you would be able to ignore most ranged attacks including Heavy Devastators and Factory Strider miniguns, but that shit could be easily rebalanced without impacting any other armours at all.

It's easier and safer to listen to a wider demographic and try to finetune to them, to keep the average normie satisfied, or to get more to buy your game, than to listen to some autist that wants CBT just for the sake of CBT.

I'm not against the idea of adding more difficulty to the game, but it needs to be done differently. Just making a number higher won't do it. Adding new enemies, enabling sub-factions as actual modifiers; irrelevant whether they're on the planet or not; would be a start. Reducing your reinforcement budget, even.

You're asking to form a new meta, specific for a difficulty. If the majority of the enemies on the bot front were just hulks, anyone with the HMG, AMR or Railgun would be laughing. EAT spam still works, RR gets ammo problems but still fucks. And dont forget the Cuck Chair exists.

Even if D11 gets made, or anything beyond that, the only defining trait will be that, what we got with AA Defenses a year ago - people will find a meta to run, and purely run that meta, as anything else is handicapping yourself.

There's some truth to the statement that D10 is only easy for us because we're used to it, all the tricks and enemies and what to avoid since watching new people (even good at shooters) get creamed in D10 proves that.

It just means we don't need shittier weapons, we don't need more heavies, we need more thoughtful challenges put into the game. Even doing something like putting non-invis stalkers and beefed up hunters for the pred strain into patrols/reinforcements proves that you can massively mix up the gameplay with just slight effort. The 'flamethrower bugs' idea where spewers/bile titans/pouncers lit people on fire with their puke was a great idea. Zapper bots that would make zap armor relevant would be fun. Just makes you think before you drop in instead of going 'solved' with the same kit every time

Because if this is the logic that only good/fast killing is fun then you should never bring anything but the Eruptor period. Nothing in the game comes even close to its direct and AoE damage. And I agree with you to an extent that its fun to bring OP weapons, its also eventually boring as shit to use the same thing over and over and boring as shit to always win so easily.

The new AR may or may not be low damage and it may be shit, doesn't matter. Its a medium pen weapon with stun effects, that's new, and new in itself can be fun as can using shitty weapons and making roleplay/thematic builds to use them.

Flamethrower is fine as "support weapon". The primary flamethrower is ironically better in that role than the support slot one, but either way you need a competent weapon to compliment your flamethrower because you won't always be in a position where you can use it.
I run primary Flamethrower and Stalwart, the latter being used to keep you from getting eaten and Flamethrower used to spray onto the floor at chokepoinds/behind you/at breaches.
You can actually pretty effectively shut down a breach if you manage to get to it before it starts filling up. Only Chargers and Titans survive the burning ground and the good thing is the flamethrower can serve as your anti-tank weapon. It takes a while but it's pretty easy to delete Bile Titans, Chargers or Impalers that refuse to take off the cough mask.
Of course all of that isn't the most optimal build, but it can be fun.

It is made completely pointless by the destroyers repositioning. The entire system sucks. Put the destroyers back in their old pattern but much higher so they can fire straight down, or just make the entire thing smoke and mirrors by having the destroyer do muzzle flashes but the origin of the shots appearing directly above the marked target.

They thought having the destroyers physically fire the projectiles would be cool, but they haven't managed to make the projectiles actually leave the destroyer in over a year now. The firing position is always incorrect and floating slightly to the side of the actual ship.

This only applies to non megacity ships. You use the laser the laser originates from the ship. No idea why its not like this by default.

Their fucking dedication to this shitty narrative is killing the game for me. HD1 treated the galactic war as just a fun backdrop for the players to dick around in, not the focal point of player input.

Both the Illuminate and Megacities were rushed as fuck and we are now stuck with them half-baked. This direction they've taken is so much clumsier and unrefined than just letting players move through the galaxy at their own pace. I hate the Major Orders, and most of the 'emergent narrative' (Meridia, DSS, Super Earth) has been unsatisfying.
