I'm going to assume Cyberpunk 2 will have its own group of gangs, and maybe some returning ones. I just hope that they make them a lot more unique and not just different skins and difficulty levels. For example, 6th Street should have had better weapons and weapon accuracy, while Animals should have been more close-combat and raw-strength based. Even if most gangs are fairly similar. A few should be on the extremes in advantages and disadvantages.

I'm trending towards Corpo because I kinda like the vibe of that, though Nomad is tempting, because then me not knowing the city well as a new player would have an in-universe explanation.

As for male vs female I'm not really sure. I'm sure both have some nice customization options I'd want to try. I'm tempted to recreate Molly from Neuromancer though. Also from what I've gathered the romance option with the chick with the colored hair is female only and I wouldn't be surprised if who the best romance option is will be a contentious topic ITT

likely a bunch of new customization options. the studio that released the Oblivion remaster was brought on to make stuff for the game. The last update they did added character creator options. The next update should be similar.
Your saves will work, but if you have mods installed you'll just need to update the required mods, like Cyber Engine Tweaks.

As for life path and male/female options. Female Corpo, Male Streetkid. to me those life paths match their voices.

i think it might be possible. my 1:12.75 run was one of the sloppiest i did. any run where i hit someone on the side walk on the first right turn id reset. but that run i was only testing how fast i could hit the shortcut, get a feel for its timing so i continued. the ramp up to dogtowns entrance, that was the only run i used the wall since the car blocked my intended path. there was no car on previous runs. the car going down the S ramp up also wasnt ideal. every few months I find myself being called back to Night City
not the game itself, but just walking, driving and enjoying the vibes of the city
it's nothing I've ever experienced in other games: the verticality, the scale, the feeling of being surrounded by a pulsating and living city, the sounds, the colors

even today I'm amazed at how impressive this game is. every building, down to the smallest details, cables, antennas, street lamps and billboards

Yeah man. I'm on my first few hours of the game. And I've always been a bit of an autist in this regard, making games like Skyrim or even fucking AssCreed Brotherhood into a life-sim with the power of imagination. But I've only done like 2 missions post intro so far and I just feel like slow walking through the city, going to food stalls, chilling in bars.
Hell, they've shown they know how to do cities with Novigrad in Witcher 3, but Night City is just on a whole new level.

I can't for the life of me find anything about what the .lua ought to be named or whether it even matters.
As far as I know I have the path set up okay ("[modder name]\\[mod folder]\\.ent") but I can't even get the option to show up in AMM's custom characters list.
One time I booted the game the tutorial .lua character option at least showed up in the list (but wouldn't spawn whwn I clicked it) but except that one time it won't show up in the list, either.
