Today, we’ve deployed a new round of Grief changes focused on reducing match length and increasing the intensity of each game. The biggest of these changes boosts the threat of the zombies, so even our base zombies feel dangerous early on and only get deadlier as the rounds go up. When the pace of the game increases, so should the danger of making a mistake! With these new damage values, we’re targeting 4 hits to go down for players who've been keeping up with their Perks and Armor buys.
We’ve also implemented changes to limit players’ ability to extend a match beyond its intended ceiling. Today’s update limits GobbleGum availability by extending the machine’s cooldown to 5 minutes, with more tweaks to GobbleGum usage potentially planned for the future based on player data. Salvage drops have also been reduced from 100 to 50 per pickup, Chopper Gunner and Mutant Injection can no longer drop from Specials and Elites, and crafting Self-Revives is now limited to 1 per player. This should all result in more intense sessions for everyone... and ideally fewer multi-hour matches!
Like you, we've also been bummed out by AFK players in our matches and will now kick them out sooner. We’ve got more updates in testing, and the team is continuing to work on making all Griefs more impactful. Until then, jump in and let us know how these changes are feeling once you’ve gotten a few matches under your belt.

I was using Win 10 and had my performance settings really nailed down - my GPU would never go over 75% or so and CPU was also fluctuating between 50-70% max.
After switching to Win 11 - after caching the shaders of course - having identical settings etc my GPU and CPU are both often maxed out and fluctuate up and down randomly, even if I stare at wall and there is no action.
Do you have any knowledge about this at all?
I haven't benchmarked other games yet.

I'm doing the BO6 directed mode main quests in each map, just did Shattered Veil, this shit took many tries and at least 10 hours between many attempts but I finally did it, PLEASE tell me the others are shorter, this shit fucking sucks.
God damn thank god I never bothered doing the quests without the Directed Mode in earlier titles, even with it it's boring as shit, imagine having to look up how to do it or god forbid figure this shit out on your own.
The only reason I'm doing it is unironically because I'm a completionist autist.

Level does not mean skill per se but it is an indication of course.
tldr only 1 out 5 or even more is a "fun or normal" match, rest of them are bullshit by design. Of course it's somewhat randomized and especially the dimwits are unable to see any patterns here.
