Police armor is good.

The 25% chest damage resistance is slightly better than 150 armor. We currently don't know if the 25% explosive resistance works separately or stacks with the damage resistance. If it stacks, it'll be slightly better than 50% explosive resist. If you want good alternatives to B-24 Enforcer and B-27 Fortified Commando, the RoboCop and Judge Dredd sets look like solid and fashionable contenders.

What's the point of the AR? Med pen? Cool. Stun? Cool. Lower damage to compensate for what an all-rounder it is? Sure.
But why is the stun duration completely negligible? Granted, you lock down any target with sustained fire. However every gun with hitstun already does this. Halt stun rounds are like a 3 second stun I don't see why they couldn't do that for this shit.

So how does the new pistol stack up against the Verdict, all in all? The guided mode is whatever, may be useful at times but can be turned off. I just wonder because I want the Verdict but it's the only thing in Polar I could really get use out of at this point, and have other warbonds I want first. It now has *less* damage than the fucking Peacemaker, but it has medium pen so I don't know how it all works out.

Also, did they ever give use the fucking medals for the Bot MO like a week ago? I got 40 medals when I got on last night, and I assume it was that since the Illuminate MO failed, but it was so delayed I have no clue.

I don't really use verdict I prefer both revolvers. I think that warbond has the impact incendiary which are good, but there are so many other options for grenades idk if I'd go out of my way for it.
The guided mode is neat but it is totally a gimmick. You can single tap with a light touch but I really hate there is no way to turn off burst fire. I don't really see this replacing revolvers in my kit.

Pretty good desu, the GL feels weird because I swear the arcs just don't go out (or hit the ground knowing these weapons) sometimes but when it hits it hits and the AR feels nice and snappy, good contrast with being a fast-firing stun gun versus the Pummeler's slower fire rate.
Didn't expect the Stun Pods to have the same knockback that Firebomb Pods do so its probably down a tier or two because of that but its nice to have an option that isn't as teamkill prone.

It's also got bigger shoulder pads and greater waist size than the medium armor cop armor, giving it a bigger appearance in general. The only thing about the medium armor that makes it seem heavier is the crotch protection.

So this thing is decently fun. It lacks killing power and I'm not convinced that it's actually all that accurate, but the homing feature is at least interesting. It's like a reverse Wasp in pretty much every category.

Yeah, it's a pistol, and against most chaff the Peacemaker is clearly the better option, but it's a neat novelty. It's really just a matter of figuring out what targets it's best suited against since it's AP3. The stun is useless. It lasts all of 2 seconds, and you'd do better to use a weapon that can kill an enemy in 2 seconds or less. 50 damage means it can't even 1-shot headshot Voteless or bodyshot the smallest of bug enemies, because of how low the damage is. Its DPS and total damage are extremely, EXTREMELY low, compared to any other primary in the game. The AP3 is redundant when you'll be losing 35% of the damage when hitting medium armor (means you'll do 32 points of damage, think about that), and Liberator does MORE damage to light armor, despite being AP2, than the Pacifier does.
This is by far the worst 3 primaries in the game.

No I'm not playing enough, but I want the new toys. After omens of tyranny got stale I played Valheim with my friends for two months. Then played Monster Hunter Wilds because somebody I work with gave it to me for free. Then gearbox finished fixing their DLC fuckup for RoR2 so I played that. Then Super Earth got attacked so I played HD2 again until ER Nightreign came out, now I'm playing that but I'll probably spend a day or two unlocking this new warbond.

Between Omens of Tyranny and Heart of Democracy I only played HD2 long enough to unlock the warbonds and max out medals again. Spending 15 dollars on SC every 2 months is some life ruining expense for me.

Speaking of which, what's the over/under on the Adjudicator vs. the Libpen? I unlocked the Adjudicator (Fairly new at least on warbonds, played a fair amount one launch) and got it up to like 19 during SE and really, really liked it, but can't decide if I need the angled grip for ergos or the vertical for recoil. The recoil doesn't seem to suck much (On PC so just pull the fucking mouse down on full auto), but after trying it it did feel good.

Didn't love the Libpen when I tried it but it is popular and could get drum mags if I put in the time, which would be very nice. I do want a good AR, but I've just gotten more mileage out of other shit lately (Eruptor, Punisher variants on bugs, Dominator or Dickle otherwise) that I haven't really settled on either.

It's really Light or Heavy, don't get it twisted. Light if you are constantly moving and sprinting between cover points, shooting and scooting, and taking pop shots. Heavy if you hunker down and want to fight things head on. The only medium that's any good is the extra padding so you get heavy damage resist with less restrictive movement. But you also give up any other armor passive. Actual tradeoff.

If you do take heavy armor, experimental stims are practically mandatory because you will need to be able to scoot away in some situations.

Personally I like the adjudicator just a little bit more if I'm ever using a med pen primary - which isn't often really.
Adjudicator feels a lot meatier to shoot, but during the squid defense there were a lot of times I was really aching for something a bit snappier, that thing can barely keep up with the speed of elevated overseer's - though it might be better with angled grip.
Lib Pen feels a lot more consistent and reliable, though somehow I always feel like I'd rather be using stock Liberator or Tenderizer. I don't hate it though, it works well enough. Currently I'm working towards the drum mag for it so maybe my opinion will change by then.

After all of the nerfs, enemies are not very threatening these days. Medium armor has more than enough mobility to evade anything that the enemy deliberately throws your way. What kills people is when the stars align and a confluence of bullshit hits them with a short series of unfortunate events. The problem with democracy protects is that instead of being 50% chance to avoid death, it should be "50% chance to avoid death and become invulnerable for the next few moments". There are simply too many ways to die in this game that don't care about the 50% dice roll. Get damaged by any kind of automatic fire? You might survive the killing blow but you likely have multiple other rounds in the burst that are on their way to fuck you up. Likewise some melee enemies attack with multi-hit combos. Many of the big rocket/cannon attacks will also ragdoll you, so even if you survive the cannon hit then the subsequent impact with the ground can kill you. It's simply very rare to take a killing blow that doesn't also have a potential follow up source of damage following hot on its heels. It's why the cheat death effect should also grant a short grace period of full on damage immunity.

Arc GL is pretty good against bugs. Instantly kills lighter bugs with the arcs and pops Alpha Commanders often instantly on a direct hit.
Can stun Chargers for you and your team and generally filters small enemies out only leaving the bigger bugs. Can kill an exposed Impaler with a full mag too.
Pairs extremely well with EAT and Hover Pack. The Arc GL does not destroy bug holes disappointingly.

The AR is pretty good too. Can deal with hunters and warriors and really only struggles against hive guards due to them being so fucking tanky.
I found myself using it to pop Alpha Commander heads and then stopping them from doing their death rush. Great for Stalkers(actual Stalkers) too.

The pistol is ok against bugs. Not having to aim is good with the Hover Pack since that jacks up weapon sway. Picks off light bugs well and can be used to pop Alpha Commander heads on occasion.
You mostly just lose the 7 hole destroying grenades of the GP by bringing this though.

Don't know about the armor. I didn't die at all despite taking a plenty of hits so maybe that says something. Probably more noticeable on the bot front.

The arcs have 4 AP, not 3 (medium) like it says on the ship. It can kill hulks and chargers from the front but not tanks/turrets as they have 5 armour. Damage also seems inconsistent.
