People be saying that anything Kris does unprompted, even while controlled by the SOUL, is his own will, and the only thing the SOUL does is what we as the player literally input and force him to do.

But that doesn't really make sense because of the Noelle rape thing. Kris clearly didn't want that to happen, but Kris' body still makes movements that we don't input, so it's gotta be the SOUL controlling him even then.

My theory is that the only thing Kris can control while possessed is one arm. That's the arm he uses to tear out the SOUL at night. Everything else Kris' body does while possessed is the SOUL's will, even if the player doesn't control it.

Ramb's storyline feels like it was left unfinished, and I can't believe I'm saying that when these chapters were in development for three and a half years. There's not even a unique Soul mode in Chapter 3, and the Shadow Crystal is given to a mandatory encounter for some reason. Even Gerson's quest is just a rehash of Jevil's, having to collect three things across the map and use them in a specific location (except you don't even need to collect them in Gerson's case). It's just disappointing after Jevil and Spamton were so good.

Just finding out you gain more TP in Gerson's fight if you block at the right time.

I have a theory

I feel like on the festival we will get a proper 'choice' as to who we will spend time with there at one point one on one. Either we get to pair Kris and Noelle (could be locked in on Snowgrave), Susie and Kris or let Susie and Noelle be on their own while Kris has to be with... Berdly or something. And I think that will lead to jealousy and resentment no matter what so the result always ends up being the same. Either we have Kris and Susie spend some time together (maybe for once we can allow Kris to be themselves without our involvement as in not forcing anything on them) or we choose Noelle to rekindle some of their lost friendship (maybe could also change depending on if we aborted Snowgrave and Noelle while no longer on that path still remembers their joy over hearing old Kris again) or we let Susie and Noelle have another moment where Susie can start developing proper feelings for Noelle.

But no matter what one party will be ANGRY. Noelle if we pick Susie would be EXTREMELY jealous over us being with Susie (and maybe even Kris as she seems conflicted about what their relationship with them is). If we pick Noelle it is Susie who gets angry over both as well and if we pick Berdly for Kris they end up despising us and being jealous of the pair we let go because it is pretty clear that Kris at least has some deeper feelings for Susie (whatever options we pick that involve her are the least forced for Kris for instance).

Basically no matter what jealousy and resentment will grow and getting over it I say will be one of the key parts of Chapter 5 as it probably will also relate to Asgore as well. As we get over our issues with that we help Asgore heal as well. And I feel like if we DO fight Asgore then (besides genocide routes in UT becoming more common just to kill Sans) we will get a mirror of Asgore fight from UT, but instead of MERCY or SPARE being destroyed it will be FIGHT as Kris most likely would NOT let us by any means hurt their dad.
