I feel like Tenna mirrors Kris's insecurities in a lot of ways. The kid's got mad separation anxiety and still wants mommy to kid their hand in ch1.
Kris is genuinely afraid of the passage of time and growing up knowing they'll eventually have to live on their own. Sans and Toriel's relationship is so upsetting to Kris, not just because it's sad that Toriel's never getting back with Asgore. It's sad because it feels like Toriel is moving on from Kris too.
This obviously isn't true and Toriel does care about Kris but their fears of being abandoned like Tenna are legitimate.

Looking at just the attacks, the knight is harder. Fuck the attack where they split the box in half, its easy at first but once it goes diagonal its just a toss up whether or not it throws you into a bullet, and the readability on the row of swords attacks is worse than sans' bones because they're just outlines (somehow it gets easier when it starts rotating). Pretty much all of sans' attack are memorization with little variance, have cheese to make them easier or just look harder than they are (virtually any attack with a gaster blaster falls under the last two).
As a full fight sans is more difficult though because his ui means you have to actively fight the muscle memory you have menuing in every other fight and it's just simply a longer test with less items and people to use them if you slip up. Though honestly it is a bit hard to say objectively, by this point I've seen and killed him so many times over the years that I rarely lose to him anymore regardless

Toby's done a good job of telling a story so far without needing to be too deep into it, but the only part so far that doesn't work that well is gerson's reveal. If you read the book in the library that explains how monster's work then you know that monster's turn to dust when they die and are buried with objects. So when susie whips out that snowglobe you get the same reveal she does.

I've seen some reactions to that scene from people that are playing more casually and they're usually more confused then that scene probably needs to be for the impact needed.
