Tank damage is the reason why tanks play in. In BFA s2 Prot warrior did as much dmg as dps, you wouldnt sacrifice 25% of your damage to pull more mobs that are just gonna bolt your tank anyway. For example half the dungeons in TWW pulling more mobs endangers the group not the tank so tank threat isnt a limiting factor its an inconvenience. I could pull half of priory on a 10 and just tank it, but my group would be thanos snapped for a reason.

I'll bust out a hypothetical, since reality would be on my side anyway. Lets pull 20 mobs, the pack lasts 1minute, we lust I pop meta and actively engage in combat for the first 30-40seconds, then I just fucking bolt for the last 20seconds, I do 1k dps while im active. Im good at my rotation so it works for me, chud chuddington the bear tank does the same pull and does 1/2nd my dps and hes a bad class and worse player, if he plays with the same mage I played with the mage is gonna be pulling threat assuming I was kiting to the limit. This basically means for threat to be a non-factor for me but be restrictive it a huge issue for him and hard, which what I really mean to conclude with is saying that its highly skill sensitive and is hard(likely impossible) to make a good mark where he doesn't have an issue but I dont get to abuse either.

The threat narrative actually doesn't make sense why people push it because the threat from most mobs aren't even on the TANK to begin with its on DPS nowadays, and has been for a pretty long time. The reason most tanks do not kite unless they absolutely need to is that you clear the key faster if you have a tank dps+3dps instead of 3dps and no tank, if that isn't the case its a failure on tank dps design.

I don't even remember what the bosses did besides the dance which was a fun mechanic but not enough. There was a slowing add or something that you had to kill fast and kite as a dps I think.. Very forgettable fight. Even the dogs were more interesting. Spirit kings and Elegon were more interesting but MSV in general sucked. Bladelord was fun, I enjoyed rotating cds for grouping up to soak

Wind Lord was a kino farm boss, where you just go fucking THERMONUCLEAR as a tank
Amber Shaper had a cool enrage where you are getting put in the amber golems one by one,but being in the golems also resulted in more boss damage.
The trio boss in terrace was cool in the fact it had special loot based on kill order
Heart of Fear was cool with the splitting of the groups and the throwing minigame, it felt like an elaborate encounter, somethign of which i enjoyed in blackfuse with the belts.
