I've played up to the end of the mountain storyline, Chapter 1 act 7 i believe. I don't know what to think about the game. On one hand I don't hate it and I'm willing to play more. But at the same time, playing with Havoc Rover+Verina only seems mediocre. Rover is button mashy without much impact behind hits and she is noncharacter that just heals and gets out. WHICH ONE IS IT?
If Kuro is gonna double down on enemies that you cannot fight unless you dodge ever 0.001 seconds and chase around the maps like a madman, can we at least get characters that don't require you to stand still and attack for them to deal any sort of damage? Carth is dogwater to use on any super mobile boss with a lot of multi hit attacks....which is what almost all WuWa bosses are since 2.0. Her damage rotation just doesn't allow you to dodge properly, and it especially sucks cause both of her ideal team members, Aero Rover and Cia, ALSO have kits that don't allow them to dodge attacks properly mid combos.
Characters should have some sort of mechanic where if you properly execute their attack chain, that attack chain is designed to not get staggered. Otherwise what's the fucking point? I got the perfect teams for both Zani and Carth but I still deal way more damage with Jinshi/Changli/H.Rover because I can just attack the boss without worry with those teams.
