I was playing Anji against this Unika in park, i lose 1-2 because Anji is my secondary, i leave to switch to Asuka and mf calls me a coward, he switches to Sol
Proceed to wipe the floor with him
Two things to note here, the first is that this guy had at least the slightest of Asuka counterplay knowledge as he 6Pd some of my cubes, the other is that he beber adapted. Always rum up 6S after VV kd, always backdashed after a blocked BB.

strong to the point of being absurd. she is almost impossible to defend against if you get knocked down, having okizeme patterns that can cover any combination of fuzzies, backdashes, burst, IB, FD, blitz, you name it, coupled with crossups and highlows. even the simplest fish summon into 2K, tick throw is fucked up because the fish will tank an abare and her reward from throwing is much higher than average.

Just barely outside of top tier in +r, fish don't go away when she gets hit and can act twice in a row so if you get one out you win neutral almost by default, and her j.2S is a strong contender for the single best normal in the game, along with very strong oki and consistent knockdowns off pokes, though not always off air to airs.
She's fragile as fuck and has pretty bad defensive options, which I think is the only thing really keeping her from being Testament/Zappa tier because at least she dies if you can catch her and she has no particular defence options you have to play around like Warrant or Zappa's everything, even her reversal super is janky and unreliable.

Solid high tier but not quite as strong in Xrd. She uses YRC extremely well, her oki is some of the best in the game and she got a reversal super that actually works now, though its not amazing or anything and she's still just as fragile if she gets hit.
But her neutral got way less ignorant despite ice spike YRC since fish go away when she gets hit(though they can still eat hits for her) and she lost j.2S. Her pokes got easier to use since she has a normal f.S now, but her frametraps and punishes are a lot less scary thanks to changed 2H and her specials got significantly less safe in neutral and pressure so she's vulnerable to rushdown in a way that she wasn't quite as badly in +r so she has a couple pretty rough matchups. Blitz is also really good against her, she can play around it but forcing her to gives her opponent options that limit her ability to just loop her strongest setups over and over.
