But also, just accept the fact that kills are automatically going to take like 3 times as long as you disengage and wait for another opportunity to kill after Blademail is off. The always-on 20% passive return also fucking sucks. It's such a cope item for useless feeders but it rewards them so well for no effort. I hate it. I would chase some loser like a Kunkka, he pops Blademail, I stop, then go in again and I still lose 50% of my HP because I'm a 2k HP squishy and he has like 5k HP + Radiance or some equally retarded bullshit. Death Prophet? Press E then Euls or Blademail and automatically waste 30+ mins of my time instead of letting me end early. Pudge? BB? Viper? Spectre? Blademail Blademail Blademail. Punished for existing, or doing my job as dps well.

These days I'm forced to buy early BKB not because of enemy spells but because of enemy Blademails. It's miserable. Blademail needs a nerf. Probably take out the passive component, or let active be disabled or purged. A 2k gold item that some shitter buys first thing after feeding in lane should NOT be this useful/valuable for the entire rest of the game.

I've somehow managed to win 3 games with offlane Void with the time zone facet. It's similar to Bristleback in that it really punishes supports if they don't have any ways to escape immediately and the potential to immediately heal all damage if you get jumped. The only real problem is you really are super dependant on your team to actually deal any damage and to constantly brooool.

I've been playing venomancer in every position, it's fun but I think he might need butterfly for dmg output, you also want to fit scepter, arcane boots, satanic

so that's 4 items slots filled, then witch blade/skadi/deso/ac/bloodthorn imo mljonir if illusion spam/ mkb if butterfly spam

you could forgo butterfly for an extra status effect and thus 25% more septic shock damage, but I think you want as much attack speed as possible

So, as I just found out very recently, Axe and Winter Wyvern counters Marci pretty fucking hard. After early game into mid game, I couldn't deal any damage at all in teamfights, and even if I did, Axe would spin like crazy and refused to die because he is a retardedly tanky hero. And even when I popped my bkb and used Unleash, Axe call and WW ult penetrated bkb, so I could literally not even do anything at all during teamfights other than just die. At that point in time, I would have required a half-decent team to carry me beyond mid game to late game, but obviously, people aren't good enough to do that even though I was top priority during teamfights and my team could just do whatever the fuck and play around me getting focused, but because they were dogshit, they didn't, and we lost.

I have a purely logical question to ask. To be very clear, I feel no emotion in regards to this. I am not upset, I am not bothered. I am just sincerely curious. Why am I not good enough?
I've played for ten years. I talk to immortal players with some regularity and have proven to have more game knowledge than they do on various mechanics. I understand the game. I don't even think I play poorly. But it seems like no matter what I do, I will always be 3k. I will be an above average 3k player to be sure, I win more games than I lose. But over ten years and around ten thousand games of play, I am still here. I know people who have played a quarter the amount of games and calibrate 1k above me. Why? Why am I not good enough? What don't I have? I have nightmare dodged sunstrikes before, it's not a matter of reaction time or not having clutchness. I don't always have the exact right hero picks or builds but I make informed decisions. Why is the median level of skill in dota an uphill battle for me? I'm not even losing to good players who know things and have put in the work, I will lose to mouthbreathing retards who play the game like absolute cavemen. It makes no sense to me.

I'm not asking this to be hostile but there have been times where I've been dead set in my ways and refused to change some inefficiencies until somebody slapped me in the face with stats and I improved when I gave them a try. So sometimes you really need (a) a second set of eyes, and (b) actually be receptive of change.
