so something like Melissa would end up as Murluza
For elves you can also ram together known elven words and parts, I named the snow elf zombie follower Alasilya which is something like new vision
If all else fails just pick a beginning middle and end from the ones offered that sounds nice to you
it's easier to just make shit up for non humans but for humans you can crutch on a lot of surname stuff, whether a latin word or a nordic clan honor name, or a location name like Al-Somewhere, even if the first names are sketchy

Seems like at the start VICN is trying to tell a story rather than do real gameplay. Maybe he thought you needed those interactions to bond with the loli. I also hate how simplicistic the quest were like: walk over to item on ground, pick up item, give item to NPC, etc.....it was like you were being told what to do. It's the polar opposite of what made Vigilant Act 4 good where you were left to figure stuff on your own. If VICN's name wasn't on it I wouldn't have made it through the first 10 minutes.

I like Aurlyn. Good voice quality, lots of features like training and a vendor, she has a questline, and she has literal hours of dialogue just going on and on about the creation myths of the setting, including Magnus and the Towers and the whole nine yards if you like just relaxing with story time.

Some anons will say she's poorly written because the character is a primordial being who was actually there with Magnus while it was happening and her accounts are first hand, not just relaying creation myths, but this doesn't actually mean it's bad writing, the author just had some fun with that detail. It doesn't suddenly mean storytime is poorly written.

Personally, my only issue is that she's rather strong, since she uses dawn magic which the author wanted to represent in a flattering light (no pun intended), but the mod lets you change her combat style and follow distance and stuff like that, so you can tune her down to your difficulty setting.

If we're talking about exploits, then yes, going to Vipir, training with him, stealing the money back, and repeating this until pickpocketing hits 90 allows you to get basically free training for the rest of the game. Even without exploiting, that five additional skill-ups is massive. Until a skill hits 51, it's pennies to purchase training. Interesting concept, but I don't much see the point of it. Guards already serve the function of noting your involvement in quests. They will comment on you being in the Companions, they will comment about the Skull of Corruption, they will comment about your lycanthropy, and so on. What it looks like is an unnecessary extra layer that doesn't really affect the player's decisions in a meaningful way.
