Found a new thing I like doing. I like creating bots that are just settings of a anime/game I like, but I look for images I like on danbooru/gelbooru, and make scenarios based off of that image since Claude knows the character/setting well enough, and just go from there.

I am working on the request and while writing lighthearted defs in simple prose, I realized I can't for the life of me write interesting but simple prose. My whole attempt at pretentious writing was just me hiding my ESL-ness and inability to write good, simple prose instead of regurgitating the same words from a 5th grader's vocabulary over and over again. I guess I can explain why these greetings end up like this. For one, they're long, and with the lorebook triggers and everything, it all dumps a lot of info on the llm right at the start. I don't think anyone should write them that way, lol.

Let's say it's just laziness on my part. I'm sure someone more talented or passionate would take the simillar idea and make it way more interactive and scripted, something that really fits a chatbot. I just went with a way to move the narrative in the greeting (with a lot of writing about what exactly happens), so the user picks up something new about the character, the world, or the story, and then the usual rp happens, just with that extra context. That was enough to satisfy me.
