It is nice that they do both take accountability over what happened though.

There are not that many games on DMM. Or games that aren't shovelware I should mean. 27 is a relatively poor spot in the upper crust of games which is where MMTD would be categorized. MMTD's monetization though isn't aggressive and it lacks microtransaction prompts compared to top earners, so it's the type of game to bounce to the top ranks then back down immediately after. Worth noting that MMTD came in 3rd Place in the most recent popularity poll for DMM/Fanza’s Game Library overall. I was determined to beat the Golden Demon King without any help or rentals and finally managed to do it; they put up a hell of a fight. Lucretia effectively nullified the speed penalties from the crystals and she and Ateru teamed up to blow through their health bar. Hariela's new skill came in use as well, because she enabled Fermi to drop-kick him several times so she could stun him out of summoning the clones. Eventually they were able to pull out two of them and knocked out Ateru, but by the time they did, Lucretia and Ateru had weakened them enough that Lucretia was able to finish them off with her skill and the other girls cleaned up the mobs.
It's cool seeing some more Monstrous Monsters too. There were even Yatagarasu flying around. Still no Yatagarasu Girl, though......

Also beat several more of the MAX Bosses; specifically the Slime King, Katzo and the giant-tree-thing. Lucretia went all the way to 120 after this and Ateru obtained another proof to use, making her significantly stronger! I'm glad she's doing so well; hopefully we'll get her original costume eventually, but in the meantime I'll always be hapy to have her swinging that dragonfruit around.
Also picked up a Tengu Girl, who's my first curved swordswoman and she's pretty nice for how easy she is to find. I'm still a bit surprised that someone ITT made a list of all the Harpies and Bird Girls native to the island for me unprompted (although it was a welcome surprise to be sure) but since I started there's been at least three or four new Bird Girls that've arrived and it's kind of funny that it's worked out like that. And that's pretty much all I can say. I'm still a new player, and what's worse, Arknights veteran, so I assume a lot of things wrong. Like, it turns out magic resistance doesn't work the way it works in Arknights... Which is funny, because my main characters till this point were Witch and Alice.

I can't compare her to other characters too, because she is the first sniper, that I have used. Well her and Lime, but Lime cheats by being gunner and doing magic damage, having more base attack, and her skills having much better attack scaling. So to my experience, physical attackers kinda suck(well not Lucretia, she rocks). Like, take arachne girl (epic version) for example. Cheap to employ, rogue class, so like arknight's vanguard, right? But she has 300 attack at level 60, she literally can't deal with basic trash mobs.

Low level pioneer things. Lanshan has global DP cost reduction in her squad buff which requires a wind team to activate. MonmusuTD has a lot of differences than end up conflicting with intuition coming from Arknights despite a lot of other things being very similar. In MMTD, archers who are comparable to Marksmen are vastly stronger in late-game as buffing is plentiful and they have higher attack speed whereas Gunners start to fall off in terms of pure DPS despite being better standalone early on. Also, the fact all rarities can be leveled all the way to 150. A lot of power is baked into the class itself in MMTD, so any unit can be used in endgame content. For reference, think

Level 60/2nd class change - E1
Level 90/3rd class change - E2
Level 120/4th class change - E3

Some units will do jackshit at low levels simply lacking the base stats for their role. Gunners are functional from the start while archers need high levels and attack subskills to get going. Some classes also have extremely important bonuses for classing up. Shamans get omni-placement and bards stop taking deploy limit at 3rd class change for example. Franci, the Arachne, is an assassin, which are generally tactical DPS. However rather than be something like a Fast Redeploy from Arknights, they instead have reduced movement cost and gain a short stacking attack buff after moving which increases with class changes.

Anon you're asking someone who hasn't even gotten a VPN to work to begin with advice on VPNs! It took me longer than I wish it had to get the emulator running (in hindsight it wasn't so hard once I realized what to do, but still). I'm not really sure how I've gotten the browser version to work, either, it just kind of 'did' somehow. But I've not even been able to download the DMM launcher much less play it that way which is what I'm assuming is how most people play the game. And the only way I can translate things is by taking screenshots and then manually copying the text in them into a translator because the programs I tried to hook up to either one didn't work.

I guess if you have the option to, you can just set up the Qooap emulator and play it that way? That doesn't require a VPN either, and it plays just fine (and I went back to it a few times when the browser version ended up having a level that was bugged). That's really the best I can do, as I've never managed to succeed at working with a VPN.

Oh damn, lack of ranged tiles in some maps was a problem for me, so that's quite the game changer indeed. And about that bard thing, hngnhhhhhh, desire to roll for yokai dragon bard intensifies... I rolled for spider yokai, only to get everyone except her (including lucking out on overpowered fox), because I wanted to play with that teleport-relocate ability, and now it turns out she would scale with fox's buff extremely good as well.
It's a shame that I can't experiment on my own with common tier operators, because they are only slightly cheaper in exp to level up, and not like I drown in exp books. At least the gold cost is significantly less. Tho I can't complain, compared to Arknights it's still far cheaper, in 2 weeks of gameplay I could E2 at most one 6 star.

Overall, thanks for advice. i came to the game with 0 expectations, but I'm having a lot of fun.

It can get very complicated in Part 3 but at the same time you can just stack ATK/MAG/DEX as a glass canon and win in 1 attack

Highest difficulty is x3 HP, x5 Attack stats x2 Agility. You're probably going to have a bigger issue with getting outspeed and oneshotted than the HP

Most people enjoy it, but some don't like how SMT it gets in Part 3.
