I just can't get behind gekishin, the fact I can't disable crossplay is a real problem because you can REALLY tell when you have a mobile player on your team. they're also most likely to just go AFK randomly and then you lose, 100% guaranteed because the game is so heavily reliant on the team being cohesive and complete. One small fuckup snowballs to a loss, and you can win or lose a match by minute 2 (and often do.)

The gameplay is fine enough, I guess. No real comeback or catchup mechanic is an odd choice, It's going to really make regular players spiral and lead to even more rage-quits because you can't even PRETEND like you can with a baron or roshan or whatever, that there's a way to maybe make a last minute comeback.

Mods are still being made, from cosmetic changes to full on PQs and stuff.
There's new DLC still being made, we just had one release less than a month ago, containing ssj4 daima and ssj3geta daima. Supposedly at least one more dlc indev based on incomplete data in the game's files. True or not, no one knows just yet but certainly possible, XV2 almost always sells pretty well, and until xv3 is announced, there's no reason to believe they're going to stop pushing updates and content.

Put in new DB shit happening like super hero and daima and i can see them going "we still can make people spend money, no reason to not do that while we also work on XV3"

1.5m sales in kakarot's launch WEEK, followed by less than 500k for the next 18 months? bamco literally stating that long term live service titles were outperforming one offs by a factor of like 15:1 due to lowered cost of dev?
I mean, they have literally just said this shit outright, they pointed out the cost to develop new content for naruto shinobi strikers and XV2, compared to putting out new content, and they would have made a whole fuckload more money off of it than kakarot, but by deciding to stick with kakarot instead of trying to push another title out and hope for larger sales in the early window, they ended up turning it into a profitable title that's still getting dlc today.
But it was objectively a failure by their own words, and what made them realize live service support was more valuable than new titles, because there's never a guarantee about new titles being successful, look at SZ, one of THE most sought after games in the entire franchise and it's dead as fuck not even 1y on, DLC hasn't moved the needle at all.

Demon Boy is trying to use the Preset Chat menu to let players choose basic movesets. according to an interaction in the comments, this choice would be character-specific since its saved in the Preset Chats menu, and not universal across all saves. so all your CaCs could use different movesets, even the ones of the same species (for the uninitiated, up till now, if you changed the moveset of a player race it affected all CaCs of that race.)

It depends on how long they want it to be. Super Hero which is equivalent to less than 5 episodes (even opening/ending aside) was adapted into 10 manga chapters, 45 pages each. Not counting the additional prologue and epilogue. So going by this, it could be even 40 chapters/10 volumes. On the other hand, the BoG movie which is about as long as 4 epiodes got adapted itno 4 short chapters which together are less than 70 pages, so something like 1.5 what became a standard DBS chapter. So if it was rushed like that, it would probably be more like 8 chapters/2 volumes.

Naruto has this theme going on of the next generation being stronger than the previous one, something that was shown and stated many times over. The Majin version may be coombait bait but Labcoat 21 has an actual well thought out back story, proper motivations, an incredible character design and an actual character arc. Shallot is just another generic Saiyan, I don't respect him enough to call him a Goku clone. He's more like a Barduck clone but even that might be giving him too much credit. I don't expect a character made for a cheap mobile game to have that much depth but they could have given him something more than "he like to fight". They just showed that they can make Saiyan characters with more flavor than that in the ToP but chose not to. Base/SSJ/SSJ2 adult Goku and Vegeta from Daima take WAY too many character slots and have literally no moveset to pull from and the only alternative would be to make some costumes for End Goku and Vegeta that turn into them which is too smart and makes too much sense for Bamco to do.

Legends is still under development. I think it's largelly a cross promotion thing. Heroes is not only dead, but also traditionally rather hermetic, even for XV2 the crossover is minimal. #21 has been popping up a lot, so she has always been a maybe. Though her home project is essentially brain-dead, so the promotion aspect is weaker here.
