I just can't get behind gekishin, the fact I can't disable crossplay is a real problem because you can REALLY tell when you have a mobile player on your team. they're also most likely to just go AFK randomly and then you lose, 100% guaranteed because the game is so heavily reliant on the team being cohesive and complete. One small fuckup snowballs to a loss, and you can win or lose a match by minute 2 (and often do.)

The gameplay is fine enough, I guess. No real comeback or catchup mechanic is an odd choice, It's going to really make regular players spiral and lead to even more rage-quits because you can't even PRETEND like you can with a baron or roshan or whatever, that there's a way to maybe make a last minute comeback.

Mods are still being made, from cosmetic changes to full on PQs and stuff.
There's new DLC still being made, we just had one release less than a month ago, containing ssj4 daima and ssj3geta daima. Supposedly at least one more dlc indev based on incomplete data in the game's files. True or not, no one knows just yet but certainly possible, XV2 almost always sells pretty well, and until xv3 is announced, there's no reason to believe they're going to stop pushing updates and content.

It depends on how long they want it to be. Super Hero which is equivalent to less than 5 episodes (even opening/ending aside) was adapted into 10 manga chapters, 45 pages each. Not counting the additional prologue and epilogue. So going by this, it could be even 40 chapters/10 volumes. On the other hand, the BoG movie which is about as long as 4 epiodes got adapted itno 4 short chapters which together are less than 70 pages, so something like 1.5 what became a standard DBS chapter. So if it was rushed like that, it would probably be more like 8 chapters/2 volumes.

Naruto has this theme going on of the next generation being stronger than the previous one, something that was shown and stated many times over. Calling Shallot and OG character is just dishonest especially compared to 21. The Majin version may be coombait bait but Labcoat 21 has an actual well thought out back story, proper motivations, an incredible character design and an actual character arc. Shallot is just another generic Saiyan, I don't respect him enough to call him a Goku clone. He's more like a Barduck clone but even that might be giving him too much credit. I don't expect a character made for a cheap mobile game to have that much depth but they could have given him something more than "he like to fight". They just showed that they can make Saiyan characters with more flavor than that in the ToP but chose not to. Trunks notices Goku and Vegeta bodies already reached their zenkai limits and then Black explains that every time his body heals the new cells generated these are linked to HIS SOUL, not Goku's like all the previous cells, that's why he doesn't need to get almost killed to trigger his "zenkai", any time Goku's original cells are replaced by Goku Black's cells he gets better control of the body and thus becomes stronger.

Actually the opposite. Zenkai require you to heal from a near-death experience, powering up. Black gets better any time he heals even if it's just cheap damage, it's easier and more safe. If anything the only problem is that he must reach his limit faster since as soon all the cells are under his control he no longer gets a boost.

Thing is, this cycles back to my original gripe, the current modes are incredibly lackluster. evem standard custom battles are botched, as the item effects are even weaker compared to what they were in SM. Besides basic AI 1v1s. custom battle really doesn't have anything to offer cause they end too fast, which again ties into all the other modes, MP included, you don't really get to savour much which is why I believe the damage needs nuked.

Ahaha, yeah that positive review percentage is really doing the game wonders right now though isn't it, given that only a thousand on steam remain, and there are 65k worth of reviews, hate to say it but I don't even think Xenoverse 2 died that fast. Furthermore, most of the reviews would have been from the player base that ditched the game before they realised they just sunk 70 dorrar and never bothered to even look back, the game had plenty of good will on release by both the hype from all people who enjoyed what came before and all the people joining in (alot of them to shit on COD at the time) but that crumbled as time went on, just ask the 90%. Some of those reviews only exist for the passing of Toriyama too which makes them further unreliable. But, even so, quite a few of the positive reviews seem to always come with an asterisk, "I like this game, but-", so not quite the overwhelming reception you claim. Some of them actually do overlap with what I want, and again there was plenty of out cry for balancing, on top of that Mr 'Single Player' game, quite a few of thos positive reviews also complain about the multiplayer being dead, so again, if multiplayer is not a worthy factor why is it brought up so often? At the end of the day, Sparking Zero at least managed to keep 22,000 in november and by december it was ditched. If it were a genuinely good game that degredation would have lasted alot longer. With DLC coming out it's clearly meant to be a game to last past its initial play but it's just not good enough.
