Rover is the MC, of course he would be the focus. I just have a problem with how every character ends up reacting the same way to Rover at the end of the day. Even if a waifu acts edgier, more innocent, more tomboyish, more calm and collected. They all reach the same state of being completely Rover obsessed and also being strangely non combatitive about the world. The fact that Zani and Carlotta are so ever friendly and loving to Pheobe despite her being in the church that is murdering people semi constantly and corrupting the entire city (and an actually devout religeous followed mind you) is just uncanny to me. I completely get if by the end of the quest they'd become sympathetic to her, but the fact they get more friendly with her as we find more fucked up shit about the church and as Pheobe doubles down on how important the church is to her is very fucking strange.

Overall the problem with WuWa's story is how totally devoid of conflict it is. There's conflict stuff in the lore and flavour texts but in-game everyone is ever friendly and trying to get into Rover's pants. Even Phrolova, the girl part of a murdering insane chaos cult who according to text murder children frequently, is still almost always friendly to Rover and Rover seems to have ZERO tensions around her and already wants to just turn her into a friend. It's downright psychotic at times. Doesn't help that we already know from leaks Phrolova is gonna become a ally.
