Standalone DoT kits like S dalvi and old liatris are powercrept, unless it’s a stackable DoT like the new liatris or yumi. Nukes will always be reliable because they get boosted multiplicatively by buffs like chains, property, vulnerability, etc. So while 650% might seem low at first, if it hits 11 tiles with all those buffs applied on that turn, it will deal very good damage. I would say Venaka is low on priority amongst DPS, but she is still decent, I can't give you straight answer whether it's worth it or not. SP13 is water, so she might be of help there, but you also will have Nebris.

Goblin Slayer characters are all shit/niche at best. Best you can do is the budget option with Goblin Slayer himself. Focus on supports first, that'll allow your dps to do more damage. Summer Eclipse is an exceptional nuker, so I'd advise getting her when her banner arrives. Limited Teresse is also meta and +5 mandatory for tons of content.

i tried but i get walled at mobs at stage 6 floor 19. i guess it requires some of the characters that you use to be +5 to have some spare to spend the silver on other characters and thus have a full +5 team by the mid of the tower.
i followed the advanced guide and still failed. although i didn't manage to get all the recommended characters.

Get Pool Party Justia when she's on the banners. +5 gives 4 guaranteed dodges, and maxed out recovers 6sp. She's brilliant for Tower of Salvation, regardless of what team you use. her self damage buff tears through lots of people in tower. 90/90 fuckers get 1 shot under the right conditions with her. The sp means you can swap her in and out and have guaranteed dodges most turns.
