I actually really like CartyFleur. She's "boss becomes a playable character" done right. She's the exact same size, nothing visually has changed, and her moveset is reflective of nearly everything her boss version can do. She can float, she can shoot multiple swords of various sizes, she mirrors several moves her boss version has, hell she even has several moves where she kicks sword beams at you like her boss version does. It's actually really cool.

She's not only easy to pilot, but her kit is extremely satisfying too. Her attacks are very flexible, her mobility is pretty good and none of her attacks make her vulnerable on use. Her resonance skill is a great gap closer, her forte heavy has built-in i-frames and her ult lets you kite enemies to avoid taking damage. Combine it with extremely good visuals and sharp sound effects and you get an engine running on pure dopamine. Carlittle never gets boring to me. Her vfx doesn't clutter the screen so you can see enemy attacks which is a huge plus, too.

I love Carty, but she requires more planning, her setup is longer and sometimes you can't really see what's happening on the screen because of her special effects.
