Well, with the Sunwell back they don't even need to do that anymore since it was purified through the Light and restored so it makes sense (also why they have yellow eyes now).
It's a shame, because nothing really is binding the Blood Elves to the Horde. Sylvanas was their connection in and their actions before matched the theme of the faction.
