How much transferable skills does World have from Wii and MK8DX? A lot of the content folk who did MK seriously in the past are already in the 9K's, while I stopped playing MK8 years ago and have been struggling to stay in the 8400-8500 range recently and frequently drop below that.

This looks exactly like the previous mario kart to me but there's more to it, like bigger world, more details, more stuff going on. Visuals themselves don't really impress at all. I felt this with the DK game trailer, like there's more tech it's able to handle now rather than "wow this looks so much better!". Is it base ps4 levels? I don't know. I'm put off by the prices big time but I'll probably end up getting one when the new version drops and more actual exclusive games are out. Piss poor launch, insane prices and it still sold a ton because nintendo, I guess.

I want the next 3D Mario game to lay the new foundation for the series. Im sick and tired of Sunshine being the main 3D Mario referenced in everything. Odyssey was good, but it was too scrambled in art style to be any sort of foundation. The next 3D Mario HAS to be a fully organic Mushroom Kingdom game.
