you're misusing some of the terms
the best way to understand it is regular suji is from the inside out, half-suji is from the outside in, and nakasuji is a doubled outside in.
so if they have discarded 5, cutting either 2 or 8 is regular suji. if they have discarded either 2 or 8, cutting 5 is half-suji. and if they have discarded both 2 and 8, cutting 5 is nakasuji.

The score is not designed like Naga's it is not meant to be a measure of skill. You can disagree with Naga all over the place and get a golden score but one single actual fuck up and it will crash you down multiple ranks. With mortal any difference can cause a drop.

Don't focus on the score focus on the actual desicions especially the big mistakes. Those bars you see and numbers with it represent tiles the AI considered to be good so if a tile has 20 or 10 it is still a reasonable deicision. Have a random position the haku is just fine here the AI even considered it. But all those 0 rated tiles would be actual errors and those level of mistakes is what you are looking for and should be reviewed in detail.

Forget the rank and the feedback and a results. Focus purely on the descion making process spend time in your logs and review all those mistakes. Plan your hand well from haipai every time many M1's just play hands without any real thought. You can still reach saint even without any hand reading but given it is such a passive skill once you start doing it it is hard not to do it automatically.
