I have no frame of reference for SV1 but the rate at we get is somewhat decent, not great but decent. Card games have come a long way so it being most closely reminding me or lauch HS isn't good. Then again, you do need multiples of legendaries...

3 legendaries would be budget if we could actually get 3 fucking legendaries with any likelihood. Even 6 legendaries was reasonable in SV1 even if not ideal.
The worst part is that due to how legendaries are designed in SV2 compared to early SV1, all the top ranking decks are running 9+ legendaries even if they don't necessarily require them to function like jamming Orchis into Artifacts. Value legendaries were such a fucking mistake of game design, value cards should be at gold.

Had about a dozen IRL friends I was playing with, they have all uninstalled after just the first day.

I don't understand how Cygames can mess up this badly.

After spending all my pre-registration rewards I currently have 7 legendaries...1 from each class.

This basically makes it so I can't play ANYTHING.

And the inability to disenchant the legendaries I don't want makes it so the only way to progress is to spend money.

I just cant see spending money a game that is looking to EoS in a few months.

I think /svg/ is absolutely overblowing the issues with the economy.

A F2P player can get a nearly full deck Day 1 right now before they've touched Ranked or Practice or finished any events.

It's more generous that the OG SV.

It took like a month of grinding in the OG SV to get to that point.

Cygames seem to be shifting card collecting more to dailies and BPs and events, so I would assume we'll get more freebies for the next set too.

By the end of this month even a f2p player could have a few solid decks and a bunch of competitive Tier 1 decks.

Will Cygames allow f2p to just make whatever they want? Probably not.

Is that fair? Yes. It's a good thing.

It creates more variety and discourages net decking. Also let's not forget that f2p DO NOT contribute to anything, so they should be grateful with any hands out they get.

Also with players being unable to lose Rank now, should be easier for most people to grind out some packs and make more stuff though.

It does mean you'll have to grind each set though, and that you wont just be able to liquidate all your old unwanted cards and instantly build multiple competitive decks every set.
This new system is more fair to Cygames.

The Shadowverse devs arent just creating this so you can 100% the game for free, they'd like to eat too.

I think the new economy is fine you're too entitled if you can't see that.

What does your main deck’s mana curve look like? I struggled to win mid/late game until I began redistributing my 2’s and added 3x Elder Sagebrush at 4. The hardest matchup in determining what to fuse will be the mirror matchup. Welp, after spending the entire day figuring out why it's unplayable in pussia, it turned out the combat servers are using TLS 1.2 which is easier to block and harder to avoid using normal anti-DPI tools. And using VPN straight up prevents you from taking any actions except of playing combat, but switching it on and off is too much of a pain. Sukagames tasukete.
