Anyone knows a mod for Skyrim that allows me to place custom markers close to or on top of quest markers? Exploring is fun and all but I frequently go to the wrong place for quests and the like because the custom marker had to be placed a gorillion miles away from the actual destination.

In The Elder Scrolls lore, housecarls are sworn personal bodyguards assigned to a thane. Their duty is to protect the thane’s life and property—they are warriors and guards, not servants or slaves.
They are not bound by oath to obey any and every personal whim of the thane, especially if it violates their personal boundaries, dignity, or honor. Skyrim’s society, particularly Nords, values personal strength and honor highly. Forcing something like that would be seen as abusive, dishonorable, and likely to result in refusal—or outright violence.
Lydia or any housecarl could absolutely say, “No,” to something like that. Their oath is about protection, not submission to all commands.
In fact, Lydia’s famous “I am sworn to carry your burdens…” line is sarcastic precisely because she’s unhappy being treated like a pack mule, let alone anything worse.
So: lore-wise? No, she wouldn’t be obligated, and it would be dishonorable of a thane to demand it.
If you want to pursue romances or relationships in TES games, mods exist that add proper consent-based relationship options with NPCs like Lydia. Otherwise, that’s not part of the vanilla role she serves.

I made the Stickbug follower

there's some small wrinkles to making her a follower, such as that I made her using a body that isn't the zeroed sliders base; I made a preset which i then further modified in racemenu

so to get the same bodyshape you need to use obody to give her the preset I made for her, which I've included in the follower mod zip.
Also I have no idea how well her sliders are gonna maintain. In any case I included the presets and sculpt etc in the zip so you can make her yourself if my follower mod turns out to be a dud
also I'm packing her with vanilla clothes bc even if I listed out the clothing mods and shit i use for her, I even made specific edits to a bunch of clothing pieces she uses so it'd be different for you than it is for me. But it's not a big deal bc I know you lot like playing dress-up with your followers anyways or dress-down, more likely
lazyfollowers is temperamental and struggled to work with khajiit overhaul. I think I got it all set up, but there's an entirely strong possibility that her head nif just doesn't load. Sorry in advance.
