Okay anons, I never actually got around to playing Cyber Sleuth and I have a question

I remember watching footage and it seemed like when a Digimon used a (non-signature, I'm not talking about the totally unique animation ones) skill, be it physical or special, the Digimon always had a "casting" animation: roaring, using guns on it's body, etc, even if the skill was implictly a physical punch or kick, and the only time a physical strike animation played was if you selected the generic "attack" command

However, I double checked this recently and it seems I was mistaken, and physical skills DO use the attack command animation as you'd expect.

Was I just totally mistaken, or do specific digimon just handle it weird and use their "cast" animation even for physical skills, or what?

I think the main reason they're perfect is because the water zone is so early in the game. most of the new digimon will probably be ultimate level after the point where the game expects the player to also have a full team of ultimates

Waruseadramon along with a lot of early recolors have very tiny edits. ShimaUnimon has a bigger horn and no wings, Pidmon had a moon on his staff and 2 wings and a line removed from his helmet, but there's really fucking subtle ones like Midoki Betamon has bigger eyes and Alraumon had a smaller flower and Muchomon has a few lines on his chest pattern. WaruSeadramon has a blade on his helmet lip thing.

There are a huge shortage of perfected compared to other levels because ultimate sort of took over. It's really noticable if you make fan evolution lines or prefer perfect digimon designs. (I love shit like AeroVdramon and MetalGreymon I never want to evolve them in games)
