There are zero negatives. I did some TW dungeons using this today and it for sure doesn't play as well as me nor can it do the things I can but if you weave it into your rotation while your main focus is on something else, even for a GCD or two, then this is quite an interesting little tool.

My point in comparing k'aresh and ultima thule is that they are both 'end' zones of expansions of MMOs that both visually look similar and both have very similar themes. The themes being the zones take place in far off corners of the galaxy/universe, the zones are both shattered planets of fallen civilizations, and we'll be spending our time communicating and learning about the past of these shattered worlds and civilizations. All while dealing with an existential galaxy/universe ending threat that has been destroying worlds for eons.

All this makes me think that Xal'atath will never be a raid/dungeon boss, that she'll never be fought. She'll either sacrifice herself for her people or be atomized by the Void, either at the end of this expansion or at the beginning of the next.
