I could never really get into persona and always dropped it immediately, but recently I've started playing P3 reload again and it's actually nice.
However I just do not care about the main plot at all. I find the whole story with the mysterious little boy and the girls that went missing extremely tedious. Is this normal? The few bosses so far have also felt really meh. Does it "pick up" at some point?
I enjoy doing the daily high school routine and leveling up my personas. But man my brain just goes into autopilot whenever something is LE HAPPENING in the tartarus. It doesn't feel like my dialogue selects have any real weight either.

Dialogue has the most weight in P4. It's part of why many people like it the most, but P4 is also the most openly formulaic about it's dungeons. I still think P4 dungeons are better than Reload's Tarturus. But I'm also someone who likes how compact Tarturus was before Reload, where Reload's Tarturus can feel like a slog when doing multiple floors in one go, which was never a case in the original versions.

Yet they already had caught shadows before and created artificial persona users along with Anti-shadow weapon with persona like Aigis.
