I don’t mind games being “cultured” but with how gaming has become it feels like having these aspects are selling points for people over the actual story. What caused me to sit back and think about this was the whole stellar blade launch the first time.

I think games should have options for the outfits but lately it feels even that has become more problematic. When it comes to costumes in gacha or regular gaming i think they need to make sense… as much as people clown on doa 5lr most of the costumes made sense for the characters now if you look at something like nikke most of the costumes don’t make sense or fit the initial design. The recent example is the racer skin for scarlet i dont think it suits her considering i think more traditional samurai outfits.

This brings me to browndust2 i think outside of the cultured stuff it’s a well thought out game with good characters but one of my main gripes as a newer player is seeing how it had to go that route just to gain more traction. I also think some of the ads especially that one out in public is cringe, shouldn’t be out incase children see it and it seems desperate.

What packs are the most worth it for a low spender?

Hi, newish player here, started since before the Goblin Slayer Collab, came from Nikke, the question is the same, are there any packs that are more worth than others? I get the feeling the packs for doing story mode and hard mode seems like the best ones, but are the other ones any good?

Also one last question, in Nikke it is worth it to buy currency with gems (you usually make that back in 2 days) to farm the events battles to get the most resources out of the event shop, does that apply here as well?

Top priority: Monthly Packs

Second Priority: Story Pack rewards (the ones that give 100 tickets or 20000 total gems). The mega sale pack is also good spending efficiency.

Anything after this point is not a "low spender", but in case you want to know:

The 1-time purchase limit packages for the Red + Purple tickets + growth items is the highest efficiency at the moment, even if you take out the purple tickets which is moreorless not worth for veteran players. For newer players looking to spend this is your best bet.

Next up is the 990 JPY (I pay with JPY since it gets me the best exchange rate and no tax) packs offering 10 tickets, 1000 gems, 240 rice/torch, and item of your choice that's limited to 2 purchases.

Anything after this point is whale territory and you should probably not go there. Unless you know what you're doing.

As a new player I don't recommend spending gems for event currency. I only do it because I'm lazy af and want to quick clear Challenge 15 instead of clearing stages. Ultimately up to you though and if you're NOT able to get the highest efficiency farming event rewards (i.e. you don't have the event characters for the bonus or can't clear challenge 5,10,15 stages), or even just want to grab some shop rewards early on, go for it. Do not recommend grabbing all of them like Nikke though. There's nothing that's worth "farming" ultimately
