you know, i think they hit a sweet spot with these new items like circes ring and the belt. they're borrowed power, but unlike the borrowed power from legion/BFA/shadowlands they dont seem to be an obnoxious, tedious grind where you have to dedicate weeks and weeks for millimeters of additional gain. with the ring you pop into the island and its fully powered up in like 20 minutes. even during the initial rollout it didnt demand more than like 10 minutes of your time per week. and the new belt looks like you just take a tour of the delves and you'll unlock all its powers.
if this is the balance they've struck, its honestly not bad. maybe im just a battered wife from playing the aforementioned borrowed power trilogy of expansions, but this new shit seems a lot more player friendly and a lot less time wasting than it used to be

We had a major patch with the only content being a twitter selfie toy and shit was so dead that half of this general played on Nostalrius since there was nothing to do outside of logging in for your garrison. Keep in mind that the gap from HFC launch to Legion launch was 13 months of nothing.
