My current theories are:
1. Eagon is Zana's and Sirus' son from an alternate timeline. Perhaps Sirus still died in that timeline (we have a new Sirus boss with a new VA) but not before getting her preggers. She tries to stop him from finding the Atlas and ruining her life like it did her father's, her lover's, and her own.
2. Eagon is some weird form of Valdo. Like he was formed out of Zana's memories in the Atlas and that is why he can't really remember his own past or the specifics about Zana. He thinks she is his sister given their similar ages, but he doesn't know and seems surprised about it. Zana believes that if he discovers the truth he'll go insane or disappear. He seems overly protective of her like Valdo was, like more than he should be given that they're "only' brother and sister and he barely knows her. A latent, parental bond makes more sense.

The only question is though, with the next league who will be the big pinnacle boss? Mark CLAIMS that we're finally getting the Atlas shake up we need with a new overhaul to the endgame system. The first choice is Zana, but I don't know if they want Zana to be the boss given that they hinted at her returning for PoE2. I also see 3 options for that:
1. It's just Zana, the easiest and simplest one. You beat her, she doesn't die, retreats further into the Atlas saying some cryptic shit and Eagon continues to go after her.
2. It's actually Eagon. Perhaps if he really is just an atlas-memory of Valdo he wants to protect the Atlas to save himself, or he goes crazy, or maybe he is just grumpy. Either way it can happen.
3. Total fucking curveball, but maybe they start to introduce the Arbiter of Ash shit into PoE1? I mean he is the final boss of PoE2 and yet there is no lore about the guy so they have to set him up at some point.

This was nowhere near an expansion league, dude. The memory system is basically on par with a league mechanic and the mercenaries are less than one. Mapping is still fundamentally the exact same, except occasionally a ginger man shows up and you do 3-4 maps with some t17 mods and then fight a new boss. Settlers came with 3 new bosses, remember that? There aren't even uber versions of the bosses.
We're 100% relying on next league. Mark says that they wanted this league to not shake up things too much since it was the first one in a year but that is total bullshit to me. I think they just didn't have time to finish the full expansion so they released what they had and will be finishing it next league. The only issue is that if next league adds a bunch of new endgame content it probably has a nothing league mechanic again too, but I'd take that if we got away from 4 voidstone bullshit.

Helo bros, Last league (Settlers, also my first league) i played EE Trickster and Hierophant, fell in love with bald mana dude. I didnt learn anything about game except farming alva & beasts to buy all op stuff (like mageblood) This league i decided to go with inquisitor. It was great and fun journey for me. Yeah new recombine method is literally just add them together. In the case of having 1 suffix you enchant a suffix onto an item to boost your chances I guess. Im not a damn scientist. So it’s 59% for 1 mod if you have 1 suffix. And with an enchant, it’ll be 66% chance to inherit either the enchant or the one you want. And a 33% chance to get both, so you can just scour it. Im pretty sure that’s a better deal. Thats a 33% chance of getting it plus a 50/50 if you fail that roll. Maybe thats worse actually. 59% is pretty decent. I guess we just don’t enchant anything.

VFoS being THE meta skill is proof that the meta is defined by literally nothing except streamer influence. It seems we can still influence this by using essence modifiers, because they are exclusive. Annulling an essence modifier is way easier. Especially since so many crafts will already use an essence modifier, if it doesn’t use one obviously you can’t do this. So it will basically first check if it’s doing prefixes or suffixes first. Ya so we probably can warlord orb a thing onto our prefixes and also our suffixes. Doing this on a 2p axe is much much easier than recombining 4p. We just do suffixes can’t be changed, then slam the warlords. So by doing this it should increase the chances. So we do that actually on both axes were doing, so there’s 2 warlord mods in the prefix, and 1 in the suffix. And this will be a 50/50 to check if it rolls prefix or suffix first. And, if we land suffix first. It should be a 70% chance to get all 3 phys rolls on the prefix. Plus the culling strike and attack speed on the suffix. And to get a higher chance of keeping the attack speed. We would have to do prefixes can’t be changed. Then essence craft on our axe 1. Because this axe will be hard to get a suffix modifier on because the other one just gets recombined with the culling strike. And really hope you roll 2 mods from the essence craft, so you can prefixes can’t be changed and annul for a 33% chance of removing the useless mod. I think that’s overall a better option that just slamming them for the 10% chance, because a 2p t1 phys is probably like 15 divines.

I barely played 0.2, frankly. The game just doesn't feel fun to play currently and I actually don't mind a slower game. The problem is that the end game is still based around PoE1 of speed > everything and quantity > quality but they want to have meaningful combos like parrying and shit.
The game cannot have shit like every mace skill having built in attack delay while filling the screen with 10,000 rare rape apes with on death effects and soul eater and haste auras coming for your asshole. It is weird how the combat works fine in the campaign but the second you get to maps it falls apart because they rushed out an "end game" that is just a copy of PoE1's.

So wats happening here?

1. Checks what base to use. Picks axe 2, it was a 50/50. So this means our final item can only have warlord mods or hunter mods, and the crusader mod will not make the cut.
2. Rolls another 50/50, to roll prefixes or suffixes first. So this part isn’t getting any magic, doesn’t matter much. Although we are removing the original zeal from axe 1. So your odds here from a pool of 5, with 1 mods excluded. Im not sure about this part dude. I don’t have a clue. Probably pretty high to keep. At least 60%. Might be even higher. Not even the wiki knows this part.
3. for prefixes we have 5 mods, but the crusader mod is excluded from the craft because we already have 2 influences from part 1. So it’s now a 57% chance to keep all 3 mods in the prefixes.

Betrayal is only good if you set up the board autistically and it takes a while and a guide. After that it kinda just prints random div card sets.
Legion is good for stacked decks and incubators for currency/stacked decks/scarabs but you need a build that can clear them fast
Expedition is primarily a Tujin/Dannig thing where you get tons of raw bubblegum currency you convert into divs. You can Rog but you have to know what you're doing, if you do Rog can give great loot.

I truly believe the complete opposite desu. 3.26 has made a lot of people realize poe1 has run its course, even if they didn't want to believe it with the anticipation of a new league. It feels dull to go in and do the same thing again. It's just more stuff crammed in, and new expansion and leagues will just be more more more on top. As poe2 gets completed and leagues start coming for it that are actually big exciting additions to the core experience poe1 will just fade away. I believe poe1 will turn into a diablo 3 type game where everyone blasts for a week then quits (even more so than now). They are already going this direction with added more speed, faster progression, easier campaign, streamlined everything. Is Expedition Scarab of Archaeology the only strat in the game that is priced differently because of the difficulty of the content? Expedition farming with archaeology is extremely profitable, more than even Harvest, but it's so hard that the vast majority of builds can't do it so arch scarabs are just 1c. It's also a high tier scarab so it's not particularly common either.

I can't think of another strat like that in the game, everything else is basically priced according to rarity and expected value.

I like Blight but was just curious how I got out of Blight maps. Turned off my affinities and took a dump tab and emptied it. Ran 6 Blight maps 2/6/6/6/6/8.
Taking into consideration only the things I could trade to Faustus for Chaos I made roughly a divine for next to no effort in them. Raw Chaos, trading stacked decks for Chaos at a rate of 1.3c per stack, selling all the report drops, gemcutters and the 2 exalts (I kept them but the value I could've traded them for).
I know that a divine per hour isn't exactly massive profits but for something that is reasonably easy for any build to do at that level it absolutely can work for someone struggling and trying ot earn currency to respec and buy some new build gear.

Man I've been having so much fun this league doing SSF. Servers being shit meant HC trade was out of the picture so I went softcore SSF to try and am glad I did.
I started with Blight, for bubblegum currency and random rewards of other things. Blight items from maps are good for my build though only one dropped and it was pretty awful so I didn't bother with it.
Didn't get many/any real upgrades via Blight but got enough currency to mess around with some of the good bases I had.
Stopped looked at what else I needed. Abyss and Clusters were the answer. Hate Abyss so I went and did Deli until I had the clusters I needed.
Shit canned my currency reserve trying to make good Clusters. Learned to make good enuogh and make better later.

Specced out of Deli and into Rog. Alternated Rog (lol when he showed up) and Blight for currency drops to replenish.
Started moving into Abyss for the belt (that never dropped) and eyes. Rolled a billion eyes to get good enough.
I'm really shit at more advanced crafting and recombing. I think my next step is farming altars to begin fishing for implicits on my gear.

Honestly this has been the most fun I've had in PoE in Idk how many leagues. Instead of zoom zoom rip. Zoom zoom, trade for better gear rip. It's just slow and steady but feels meaningful.
