If you want medium pen with spread, you can use the halt
If you don't want spread, you can use the slugger.

Basically the same profiles, but the halt can hard cc chargers and pred strain. Weak fucking stagger so I wouldn't bring it to predator strain honestly. Normal bugs it's godly.

If you want a primary that does a lot of everything it's solid, but if you wanna use everything in your loadout take slugger.
Shit on bots unless you need a close range option for zerkers and like stun, haven't tried it on ayys too much but it does stun flesh pounds.

The original Illuminate from HD1 were chill, enlightened (hah) high tech religious faction that initiated peaceful first contact with Super Earth, classic trope of seeing humans as misguided kids. But SE pulled a Saddam and preemptively attacked them for "security" because they had "WMDs", except they never had any, it was SE that wanted their tech to make them (dark fluid).
Despite the tech advantage they weren't really built for the crushing gears of war like the rest and had low population, so their remnants packed out and fled to another galaxy.

They apparently spent a century building up their new hood and gearing up for revenge so when SE opened the wormhole by accident they sent forces back with new toys to use. They mutate humansand make cyber-organic war machines because they don't have the population numbers to waste as fodder.
Are they "good"? Not anymore, surely, but they're pretty justified.

I think the most broken shit you can do in this game is just pick up a guy's empty resupply pack.
Might not sound like much but for every person that picks it up you're effectively doubling the ammo and stims of the party. And God forbid if everyone takes a solid red or green instead of the blue slot they would have taken.

I honestly don't think arrowhead is aware of how much of a difference extra strategems on the board gets you. Because so much shit in the game changes that. Like the 25% cool down mod to your strategems is so massive, its basically like playing on difficulty 12 or 13 with the way they balance the game.
I could go on, but it's fucking horrifying looking at how shambly the balance is in this game.

How is it that bots are the least annoying faction right now? Can't see shit on bugs and there's so many gear checks that it really limits what you can bring, and everything surrounding leviathans is so gay. Bots really are the only faction to fight that feel like there's nothing truly bullshit about it, everything has a weak point that can be approached with a multitude of weapons, and nothing really contributes to deaths that feel unavoidable.

It got nerfed to 350 damage per shot. The explosion doesn't do more than 50 because it doesn't 1 tap people near the radius.

By the time the next volley comes it has already has regenerated the damage. The only thing that can pop it fast is harvesters.

Here's footage from just now of the shield being broken by roughly 6 shots from one leviathan (off screen and just before the clip, spread out over two volleys) and then another volley from the leviathan in the clip. The volley from the 2nd leviathan happened four-five seconds after the shots from the first one, so it should even have healed most of that damage from the first volley.

Scythe is a sleeper hit on all fronts. It is possible to use explosive weapons as diversions. This is easiest with the explosive crossbow. If you see a patrol heading towards your team's position, then you can divert it by shooting the xbow in such a way that the explosion is heard by the patrol and they divert to investigate the explosion. In order for bots to even start having teeth again in D11 and beyond, then several of those nerfs need to be rolled back for the higher difficulties. If it's on the floor next to a primary and/or a sample container it's untouchable. I can solve Squids in three Stratagem slots, two if I lay down the Strafing Run crutch. Fourth slot is quite literally free on Squids, so I sometimes take Emancipator just to shoot down two Leviathans a pop when I'm bored. Cuck chair would be more effective but also boring.

What I truly want to see is if there are sectors between two factions that touch. Those missions now have a chance of being faction split. Where the amount of enemies and patrols sky rockets, however they are just as hostile to each other as you. So the trick would be to get them to fight each other before sneaking in to complete an objective or wipe them both out after they are weakened or distracted. Being able to breach/warp/bot drop in would keep fights going for a long damn while. Have separate timing for ones you spawn versus ones they spawn towards each other.

Only way this works though is if there are a FUCK load of them. Otherwise it would always make things easier since their respective forces would be cut practically in half.
